Yes, on track it does. On the road you just get a bit more road noise.

Pilot Sport 3's or AD08R's. Whatever you get, look for the XL ones. They're extra load for a stiffer sidewall. On track run the AD08R's at 32-34psi hot or the PS3's about the same if not a bit higher to stop them rolling onto the sidewall.

you want soft if it's cold and damp and then medium for everything else.

50 profile and in medium compound will be fine. You'll go through the soft way too quick in summer.

On the CC control if you turn the fan speed all the way down, the AC pump will disengage. The same when you turn the fan speed up from 0 to 1 bar, the pump can be heard clicking into action.

There's meant to be a gap, not that much though from what I remember.

That kink to the left on entry is the killer. It's ok if you go through it on some throttle, then get the car straight to brake.

The other weekend at Oulton, I set my AD08's to 30 cold and the fronts went up to 37 after 5 laps lol.

I'm guessing that's the outside edge? The sidewalls aren't as stiff as a race tyre so still need over 30 psi, its the same with AD08r's

The pinch bolt, yes that needs to come out.

Top Mount is 20nm, but as said it's difficult to torque as you need to hold the centre still with an allen key.

I know the inners come in 23mm and 25mm and the outer are 22mm and 23mm. I just don't know which is which lol.

If you do measure it, i'd do it at the point where the bushes go as the inner and outer bush diameters are different aren't they?
