If you only have one side jacked up, you'll be fighting the tension of the anti roll bar.

Have you got both sides jacked up? The anti roll bar will be holding the lower arm up, you'll need to get someone to put some weight on the arm so you can get a bolt in.

Make sure your fluid level is topped up. Then you want to open the bleed nipples on the calipers and as you do this get someone to press the brake pedal down. Then you need a piece of wood or a bar to wedge the brake pedal in the fully down position. Wedged between the pedal and the seat works...

I think the motors on mine are packing up, it's a really weak spluttering spray. I've got the Citroen jets to fit too. Where were the motors from mate?

Well it's just ruling out an immobiliser issue due to possible low key fob battery voltage at the minute. What's the car battery voltage like?

Yeah, the bottom pulley on the same side as the cam pulleys.

Nah, can do it yourself. It's one of those round cell batteries. Either a CR2016 or a CR1220. You'll have to open the key to find out.

Might be worth changing the key fob battery to eliminate that from the equation.

Immobiliser light go out when you turn the key or is it flashing?
