Works fine for me.
Just make sure you get some ducting with some backbone, otherwise it compresses in the vacuum when you open the throttle...giving you LESS power.
clean my filter out most weekends, never seems to collect anything that can cause damage.
As it was about time for a major service i took the chance to get a few other niggling problems sorted as well. Had all the work done at Arnold Clark Warrington, not the best service but i got the parts cheap.:D

Like Rich said, always drop the bonnet.
It's French remember...you can practically read throught the panels.
