Same as benclelland for me , Extreme Body Wash N Wax from carwashnwax.com .Always fast delivery plus you get 10% discount being a cliosport member :)
AG shampoo is probably one of the worst imo .
Autoglym interior shampoo , failing that Meguiars all purpose cleaner .Let it dwell for a minute then use a nail brush or fingers to agitate it and wipe clean with a damp microfibre cloth .
You drive through a live speed camera at 10% + 3 and let me know how you get on ;) You'll be looking at 3 points and a £60 fine mate !
Where do people get these crazy notions from ? A friend of a friend of a friend said ..........?? Pmsl
Autoglym interior shampoo . Air fresheners will only mask the smell slightly , the shampoo will remove all the crap and smoke smell .
I bought a Pug 306 years ago , the headlining was slightly grubby , so i washed it with the AG interior shampoo , i was amazed just how dirty it really was ...
I don't really find it much hassle connecting up the karcher . Granted it takes a while longer than just using a hose , but when you think that alot of people spend 4 or 5 hours or more washing , polishing , waxing etc ..... its not that much extra time added to your day really .
Have a look...
I use chemical guys Extreme Body Wash N Wax most of the time , but tbh any shampoo i've tried using my karcher method produces lots of foam .

My efforts with a Karcher , a length of hose running into a 25 litre home brew fermenting bin with a couple of capfuls of shampoo . Use a vario lance ( around a tenner off ebay ) and you can have low pressure or high pressure foam :)
I've never used one , but for £50 they seem alot of money for something that just covers the car in foam at low pressure .
Have you never thought about a pressure washer ? There are some in Aldi now , £75 , they are made by Karcher and rebranded Powecraft , plus you get a 3 year guarantee ...
Gotta say Fred . Eithers it's my tired eyes , the polish lager or just a bad pic . But the centre cap looks a totally different shade to the refurbed wheel :ee:
Jesus Ja.Jack . Don't you ever stop trying to wind people up ? Or do you lead such a sad and meagre existance that you thrive on the attention you crave ??
Fred and BenR are respected members of this community and from all the posts i've read their customer satisfaction is second to none ...
I never wrote a receipt . As said , sold as seen wouldn't mean anything legally . Just make sure you fill out the parts on the V5 , his and your part .
No need to take off any of the paint . If it's been filled you'll obviously need to sand that down , just sand the whole wheel lightly as well with some 320 grit to give the primer something to key to . No wonder its taking you ages ;)
If you have a local nokia shop , just take it there . They will update the firmware for free . At least if somethin fcuks up they'll have to sort it :)
Why are you taking the paint off ? Here's one i refurbed .
I cleaned the wheel with AG engine and machine cleaner then dried it . Filled all the deep scratches with Upol D Metallic Filler , left overnight to harden sanded it down with 320 grit wet and dry . This also gives the primer a good...
The white dots could be because your in a hard water area . Use a waffle weave towel . I also use an autoglym aqua blade to remove the majority of water . Chamois leathers are crap tbh , you've more chance of causing a streaky finish using one ...
^^^ The man talks sense .
If you take it to a dealer prepare to have your heart broken . Sell it private and you'll get more . I sold my import 172 for the same price as similar age , mileage etc .... 172's on Autotrader . As long as you have an alarm and locking wheel nuts you should get the...
