Yeah when I last went round I took a can and he sprayed them all over, seems to do a decent job.

Looking good Joe! I'd look at getting some stuff to spray on the coilovers to help protect them, something like GT-85 or some other PTFE or Silicone spray.

Yeah, they are a bit of a minefield. Just make sure you check everything on them, mainly full service history, engine mounts, window regulators are a common failure, check footwells for wet carpets too. If you need any help with one, my brother has a ph1 2006 reg one, so i can help you out...

Top mount setup is completely different IIRC.

That doesn't sound good. I know the milky oil under the cap can be caused by a lot of short journeys, but the coolant shouldn't change colour :S
