I have never failed to sell a car on pistonheads within a week , but then it depends on car type .
do your homework and sell for a realistic market value , forget the 10k you spent on mods as they mean very little in most cases despite what CS will argue ,and you will sell .
put it this way ...
and this is the problem , he is more likely to shift that at 9995 , which leaves him a grand out of pocket but i don't see it being worth much more in the current market .
i found a few 09 plates with all the toys and lower milage for under 9.5k
what it owes him and what its worth have...
full service every 20k is about 320 inc vat all in , brake discs on the front are pricey , and ours does more like 22mpg over 20k miles as i reset it when we have a service
remember track tyres you don't have a setting you work to cold , you would always work to a hot pressure based on what you want on a surface temp .
the answer is it will be different on any track on any day , and different times of the day , but as a guide to start with see below , and that...
Lauren it just really made me chuckle that Ollie at sky insurance knows you so well , funny on so many levels ......
get those belts done and i'll try and make oulton , as i am sure i can chuck you in to the guy who wants some instruction too , that is if you want to lap in the outside and cold...
seen temps of 110 on engines before with no adverse effects , no doubt there is a little red light somewhere on the renault dash ..... see it come on and it will be shut down time
it proberbly designed to run at somewhere between 90 and 95 nominal to keep the emissions where they need to be ,
would never do it on a road car ..... to many issues , but i have thrown away a fair few knackered stats over the years , mostly we just rip the middle out
true , have to say we have normally run track cars with no stat ...... as a stuck stat is worse than no stat and a warm engine before going on track
oh and have seen hot oil on the road , but normally heat soak after sitting in hours of london traffic :)
Larger Rad is also dependant on what is the idea temp on your engine , you don't want them to run too cool , and if you have water temp issues often it is oil temp related , would not worry about seeing 140deg oil temps but i would on low oil pressure ,
In fact i would much rather have a...
first off get a capillary oil temp and pressure gauge (one that actually has oil in the pip up to the gauge not an electric one)
Knowing oil pressure is more important than temp, as hot oil is better than no oil , and very hot oil will be shown by lower pressure .
as a rule of thumb oil...
used to get slated years ago as we used to always track costs on the race cars etc , and not counting things like depreciation , a simple track day 6 or 7 years ago was costing about £500 a day when you worked it all out.
Most people who race will have an idea of what the costs are else its...
Have a look at the Sigma 15-500 , great value for money and i have seen them pop up second hand for around the 400 quid mark which is 70-300 money assuming you have a lens for the under 150 stuff .
however its not a light lens to carry
the one on the M40 at beaconsfield also has 36 pumps and has been open for a long time ........... you would think shell would know thats theirs too.
i don't doubt there are other 36 pump stations in the uk .
Just because people can afford new cars , or have company cars does not automatically mean they will ding your car ?? one of ours is company owned , i don't fling doors open and neither does it have any dings in it >
i don't think i know anyone with a company car who treats it in the way you...
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
totally agree with this , anoys me know end with the way people pull up on zig zags and the like , if you had ever seen someone mowed down on a crossing you would think twice.
I drive in central london alot and have to deal with the padestrians walking out from parked cars alot...
no dings in the doors of any of our cars , never really bother about it ,we park in wherever there is a space . Usually sainsburys or Waitrose local to us , then again its not unusually to see a variety of exotica parked up where we live so maybe people do take more care ....shrugs

Blimey ...... simply amazed he thought that was the entry speed and where he seems to be isn't the line carrying speed like that , i mean i have seen people go in hot but that was ridiculous
Harsh words, but the angle of the car as it comes into shot leads my first feeling to be a throttle stuck wide open, or brake failure, no doubt coupled to inexperience . However if its a throttle wide open you should see the amount of talented drivers who take seconds to realise , comprehend and...
because the 100 circuit is the small infield circuit and isn't near the pit lane
http://www.lancerregister.com/mlr_images/forum/snett 100 course.jpg
and the 200 uses the old back straight eg how the circuit always was.
it is , and your pics of the clio are fine , i was mealy saying you can get half decent phone shots .
Enjoy it , and you'll then find you'll love the next steps forward you will discover .
no , most certainly the dslr shots could be a lot better , but they are taken from a moving boat hand held and grabbed quickly as that wasn't what i was there to do ....
but when you compare both photos in similar situations then the the phone will sometimes get a better result than expected (i...
but you can get decent pics with the phone you grabbed from your pocket too .....
certainly for posting on forums/facebook you can get a decent pic with a phone alot of the time with the right app.
