now shall we post the difference between the kit lens on a dslr , and a pro lens with far far better glass in , you'll be surprised by that too especially in a low light situation ,
however you took pics with your curve inside and the ones with your dslr were outside in better light ?
How...
mod a road car - better off buying a better faster car
mod a track car that sees part road part track -then yes, but not too wild ,and mod to gain reliability first
mod a totally track car -there are much better value for money track cars (if we are talking lots of modding) than a clio...

best in budget i would say , sure do do better ones but they stretch outside your budget , they also do a mice section with iphone controls on too ;)

its possible to shoot without a tripod and shutter release , i did high iso and shutter priority and played with shutter speeds
i couldn't use a tripod for this , infact i was standing on a moving boat on the water at the end of Cowes week
however a week later i was at the Fowey reggata ...
I have to say a decent wide angle is what i am after next , i have the nikon 70-200 and a sigma 24-70 both f2.8's and was looking at the tokina f2.8 11-16 , however my new sigma 24-70 has impressed me alot , so may look at the Sigma 10-20 F3.5 HSM , off to the Masai Mara at christmas on safari...
would laugh if he came back with the correct answers around unsprung weight and the affect it has on handling , which can make a car quicker .
maybe only of use running a lightweight car , but all those bits count at somepoint :rasp:
chip i apologise if his posts have been disrespectful to people , but the start of the thread ws more along the lines of this bloke is smoking drugs with his prices . By low sell high is basic business , he has that right even if the way he goes about it isn't sound .
But the easiest way is as...
looking at the way its gone it does have a bit of camber , but the rubber has rolled due to understeer and abuse . I didn't want to insult you by jumping straight in with that but i would say thats the case .
As for why its doing it now and didn't before can depend on so much , tyre compound ...
I wasn't commenting on specifics Chip , but why does everyone get so wound up by the bloke ? don't sell to him with his silly offers and don't buy at his inflated prices ?
All the people i know who trade in cars go in at rock bottom prices to sellers ? i am not seeing what he is doing any...
Do you drive it fairly hard? and suffer from a fair amount of understeer when pushing on ? looks like it has rolled the rubber to the inner edge , not seen it on a road tyre before but seen race tyres do that usually with the rubber heavily grained .
I was seriously just pointing out that you can't **** someone for pricing something high , market forces end up denoting your price ,
the bloke may be a tool of the highest order , but that is another point altogether , and not what was being pointed out .
as for the cars i have , i work hard...
welcome , driven zandvoort a few times and nearly been caught out by sand across the surface a few times , tricky track to learn too .
clio looks great , good luck with time attack .
oh and well done with posting pics of yourself , 22 year old dutch girl racer , i predict a long thread .
i had a moan at ben calling him a mong , he is selling his stuff and making money if he wasn't he would price it cheaper .
forums are renouned for tight wads who don't want to part with market rate , and then moan when their car is worth f**k all , seen it all before
and i don't agree with...
as far as i knew they were/are mags , however they are the older 15's so maybe alloy or looking at his pic on track are they not 17"s in which case they are Mag .
d7000 new since that guide was written (last year i think) just upgraded my aging D50 which has served well and things have moved on alot .
also treated myself to the fabled 70-200 f2.8 (nikon) and the combo is amazing .
buying from the US saves a heaps so if you have a trip planned or...
then don't use them , vote with your feet .....
there is no other way to stop that type of behaviour , to be fair if someone does not know better then more fool them , you need to man up , but slagging a bloke for selling stuff at way over the top , just the same as knocking porsche or rolex ...
But Daniel (and you can just call me Harv ) the easiest way for him to fail is for people to ignore his silly low bids , and not pay his inflated prices , his business would fold ,m they obviously don't as he keeps popping up .
i am all for making a cheeky bid ,but this place seems to run its...
i wouldn't , i'd buy a car with decent seats in the first place ..... because maybe , just maybe , the clio isn't our only car ?
the comment re big brake kits was in reference to those who said people never want to pay the money , those who do do , those who do are most likely track day...
Having dealt with and seen the same thing on many different car forums, i have to say your wrong , i know several people who have pulled away from (people who want to run a business) car forums as a place to advertise their wares for exactly this reason .
And i make assumtions about all forum...
so how much are new ones ben ? and are their any available cheaper on ebay ?
gets on my tits car forum people , always want to pay f**k all , are tight as arseholes and give the most grief .
the bloke may not be very eloquent but he seems to be doing ok out of the cars he breaks so maybe...
Alex has it spot on , lived and have had german registered cars , this will happen , it will make modifying harder , and will get rid of some engine modding , its the way it is and has been in germany and a fair few other european countires , you can say it will never happen , but i suspect you...
be interesting to see what effect slotting the hole on the cup wishbone to give even more caster did , theory suggests it would increase bite on turn in but would take some playing around with ,
