I have my Valver insured with my 4 years no claims and have just ordered a brand new Clio DCI 80 and need insurance. Anyone know a good insurance company that takes into account that it is your second car and you have no-claims tied up in another car?
I had 215/40-16 on mine and was totally perfect. No rubbing anywhere. Paul aka coolspot007007 has them on his valver now.
Actually the rolling radius of a 215/40-16 is as close as you get to the std valver rolling radius.
You do need to convert to solid lifters, and they have to be adjusted periodically.
If you keep hydraulic lifters with a Cam higher than 285 than you get "Valve Float" which is where the lifter loses control of the valve.
PS This info may not be 100% accurate, but I think its right
It’s not the spamming thing, its cause I’m not a member I cant post more than once in 3 min.
To be honest with you there is not much more to say about the Samco deal. It is through my work this time (unlike the dials) which means you get all the support etc from a shop. Basically the deal is...
You dont get the full 10 hoses, or i would be buying them.
(THIS IS THE 4th TIME I HAVE WRITTEN THIS REPLY BECAUSE OF THAT F()CKING 3 MIN TIME WAIT THING)
Still going Glenn, just waiting for a cheque back that someone forgot to sign, should have got it this morning.
As for Charlottes hoses, they are good, just dont get enough, only about 4 or something.
Yes Glenn that is all 10 hoses, but that price is only a temporary offer for our first order from Samco, but after that the price will go up, but I s won’t be as much as £346.
Smokey, the offer is open to you, but would only be on your first order.
Glenn i can get you a full Samco kit for about £250 which is 30% discount on the normal price. Reason: I need to place a big order with Samco to get a trade acount and am offering the hoses at trade price to anyone that helps with this order.

VVT alloys the inlet and exhaust valves to be open at the same time (overlap) when you increase the revs. If this overlap was there during idle your car would idle very bad. The reason that it is ok during higher revs is that the valves open and shut faster the higher you rev so the actual...
Really at worst fecked pistons and valves. I can sell you a set of Second Hand pistons and you can source a second hand head for about £100, not really as bad as you think.
Cost a lot to replace the pistons, prob about £300, you could do yorself tho, its not hard.
You can buy an after market sunroof seal. i got mine for £30, renault quoted me £80+ VAT for it even though most othe rpeople that have tried have been told it is not available.
Look up yell.co.uk and search for Sunroof repair and buy a seal from them.
I cant see any bolt:
