I dont have a pic right now. The paint is not broken and although the dent is relativly big, it looks like it would pop back out very easily.
Mac, im in prestwick mate, but i would travel to Stirling. You got his no, web site or e-mail and ill give him a shout.
I need a dent removed from my 2 week old dCi. Has anyone got any contact details for me, they would need to be in Scotland or travel to Scotland.
Also what sort of price will it to get a largish dent in the centre of the rear quarter from a some f()cker kicking it removed?
I had trouble today building up my coilovers today, i couldnt get the mounts at the top of the strut to work right.
I either had to much thread that if i shut the bonnet it dented it, or not enough thread that the strut top mount would not go on, or the rubber mount underneath and strut top...

so summing up, rear will prob be ok if you can get the right offset, and front could be dodgy.
However to through a spanner in the works, i had 215/40/16 tyres on my car when it as std with a ET38 and no rubbing
I think I can clear this up,
Lunner, you have the right idea but have went the wrong way with the offset.
Ben J, I agree it would look good but as Ben R has said it will decrease the handling of the car by moving the centre line of the wheel closer to the car.
Ben R, the reason for the...
ET49 will rub on the inside at the front and prob on the strut, youd need coilovers and the back would prob be ok.
7.5 wide fit with a 38 off set (dont they?), so for 8 inch you need to add 1/4 of an inch onto 38, not sure what 1/4 of an inch is in mil.
(Theory, whatever you go up in wheel...
TBH you need the rear bumper too with the rear arches as they stick out further. Then it would look really really silly without the skirts front wings and then you need to front bumper.
Personal i would not get any of it on its own as itd look very silly. That is the reason they dont sell it...
I can do it for £900 + VAT. I need the Crown wheel and the pot joint for the shaft, which is part of the diff.
I think they can do it on an exchange basis with a surcharge so you dont need to strip it before you get the diff. Just send the parts back once its fitted but ill need to check that.
