If it was the fault of somebody else and they have admitted liability and the car is repaired , it will have lost some of its value and you can make a claim for this . Its called Diminution of value .

Everybody has their own preference .

Why mongoose ? Its not a name you usually see mentioned for the 172 !
When i had a 172 , i had one made up at powerflow in Burnley . £270 , full cat back stainless stealth system .They'll make you any system that you specify .

^^^ Another teflon product eh ! Seems to be the in thing at the moment ;)
It definitely sounds dodgy , never heard of it being a problem on a clio before though . A remember seeing that bloke in a beemer last year , his accelerator stuck on and he ended up crashing into a roundabout at 120mph though lol
So its definitely not catching on the mat ? I had this once years ago with my clutch pedal , it kept sticking down and i had to keep flicking it up with my foot , lol .
If not a trip back to Renault me thinks .
Or try this . Does exactly the same as the others mentioned above , wash your car , spray in on when its wet , dry the car , job done . Beads water as good as any wax and lasts for absolutely ages .Its a good one to have if your pushed for time or the weathers looking a bit iffy . I've even put...
Nope . No manual for the 172 . 182's . It wouldn't have been worth while printing one as the sales are relatively low compared to the standard clios .
The haynes manual does cover alot of things that might be of some use though .
I've used comma in the past and i've used castrol response .Like GordonD says , its like having 2 different kinds of engine oil , you can't tell the difference .
Take it back and get em to sort it . Sounds like either bad technique or setup at the bodyshop . Lots of cars suffer from it from factory , Clios are reknowned for it .
Never heard of em tbh mate . You want of these ;)

Agree . Whats the point of having a car like that and not using it ? You might as well just have a £500 banger , run it into the ground for a year or two then scrap it . Waste of a good car imo .
A cars a tin box on wheels , use it , enjoy it . I really can't see the point in having a car...
^ Bit of a silly comment if you ask me mate !
Whats the point of having a car with 170+ bhp if you have to tip toe round when its wet ?? Imo you want a tyre that instills confidence in the car in all weather conditions . I know from experience just how bad they can be in the wet , i stacked...
