I would say the vast majority of people want an upgraded airfilter to give some kind of proven increase in bhp , then you'll always get some people who don't mind sacrificing a few bhp if it sounds better / louder . What gains did you actually see with the VForce on a clio 172/182 ? Honest...

Your probably on the wrong forum lol if you want anybody to give you good feedback on the cooper . Some people seem to think the 172/182's are the be all and end all , lol , almost supercar bracket ;) Imo they look good from the outside , not keen on the interior . Each to their tho' eh !

No difference in performance . Same engine with a different exhaust manifold . I went from a 172 to a 182 , i find the cup suspension slightly better and the Michelins better than the contis , other than that . Fcuk all difference tbh .I'm not 100% sure but with it being a cup it " might " not...

You obviously know about 172's having one yourself . 182 is the same car basically with the exception of different wheels , twin exhaust etc .... 182 over the cooper for me anyway .

^^^ Polishing paint ? I used 2000 grit on some stone chips i touched up , then megs scratch X to polish . 2500/3000 won't last long as its so fine .

Thats pretty fine stuff tbh mate .What are you sanding ? 2000 grit is good enough for a final sanding . Try ebay or a local bobyshop suppliers . I bought some 2000 grit off this seller on ebay , but he only seems to have 1500 at the moment ...
