I am with elephant and they give discount on your second car. I tried to work out how much discount so i got a quote on another 106gti and the second quote was £450 whereas i am paying £600 on the 106 now so thats a £150 saving for second car.
I also seen an advert on TV the other day for...
Anyone can pay someone to tune their engine and therefor "have" a tuned car, doesnt mean you have a clue about tuning engines which on the evidence here you dont
Yeah ended up in McD's car park. Its a shame we didnt stay longer as my new rainbow coloured neons would have looked so wicked pulsing to the beat of my 4 12" subs in the dark init :rasp:
Not so funny for Biff as his reward for being up my arse driving through was a big flame popping out onto his bumper and him sh*tting himself :)
It really was so wet tho and miserable...bloody english summer eh
VTS mate. Lots of good ones going for your budget, especially the mk1 ones can easily be had for that money if you look about and wait a while.
take a look on the saxo forums. I seen a few minters up for @ £1800 in the last month
Thats not too bad, take of the bumper and bonnet at the front, sort out the colour and could have a fun track car there, Bit of fettling with the engine and might be silly quick too. Beauty of a van it comes pre-stripped
They will fit any car iirc, just need whatever fitting kit for it.
As for trying it out mate i really shouldnt do anything, they have there place in certain applications but yours wont be one of them.
Do a search mate as they have been discussed before on here i believe
I will say this one last time. As you say those cams would last but unlike your quote above it will take more than a strong properly run in red top. The manufacturers of the cams say they need a Race Spec Engine or similar and that to me doesnt mean a well run in engine. It means an engine...
Could have been from the 'Sport' models of clios? Its def not from an 172/182 as like has been said the rev range is wrong. They are similar to a mk1 172 tho so maybe they are from a 1.2 sport or something of the same years?
Not much help i know
Between both of those if i wasnt fussed about colour a would probably go for the newer car.
Thats the strangest 5k budget i have seen tho ;) wish my budgets were like that :D :D
23k in less than a year maybe. This might be good as faults would have been fixed etc but could equally be bad. Price seems cheap tho. I wouldn't personally be bothered with it being an import. Get less warrenty tho i think (do a search as i seem to remember this being discussed in detail)...
Drink tasted fine but it wasnt 'propper' coke, some cheap version hense the 'rola-cola' comment. My food wasnt too great either. I would have left the meat like you but then i would have ended up with just bread lol
I dont believe either the post i posted in this thread or in the numerious other threads about my move to a 106 mentioned the fact it was solely for the seating position. My actual comment was that the seating position was bad and therfore i didnt like it. This i think is a very good reason to...
yep thats the one :D
I would basically decide on a budget, Say £5k then go and view the cars from there on in order of milage so long as they meet other criteria. In most cases tho i would get the newest car i could even if it had say 10k more than one 2 years older. If that makes sense :S I...
The clio has one of the worse seating positions i have ever had the pleasure of sitting in. I dont have my clio anymore but one of the reasons i sold it for the gti i now have apart from saving some cash is i didnt like the seating position and could never get used to it.
I also have a 52...
Using non sealed on the road will see you having to maintain and clean them a lot more than normal calipers i.e. depending on milage you will need to clean them weekly
