Sorry yeah I understand, so you're saying to go lower you stiffen up the spring? Hmmm.
I was thinking at least 20mm.
Coilovers are an option tbh but a bit of hassle and expense tbf.
Yeah i've read up a lot about it in regards to damper wear. Was more compatibility.
I'm thinking just a lowered spring with the same spec rate wise would be better for my idea rather than go softer as it won't soften the ride as the damping clearly comes from the damper obv. A softer spring...
Yeah Imperial Blue is the colour.
It's kinda hard for me to answer the question in regards to changing as i'm probably changing to a car that's worse in 9/10 departments but that's the magic of Fords to me.
I'll update the thread with final thoughts next week if I get a chance.
I love the...
Lols. It will have a couple of small modifications. A company used the springs off my last one to develop lower springs for it. Easily made to be fair. Other that that, paint, detail and replace some parts. :)
The lowering is a must for me this time though, the front makes it look a tad silly...
My point is people think they're cool and good. How many young guys go out and buy them, cheap and look like they'll be great.
I've driven cars with Barum or Cooper tyres, both cheaper and better. Barum are made by continental!
The Toyos became a fashionable tyre like it or not. They aren't...
Of course anyone that wants to use it that way will no doubt still think it's brilliant. Although Harris did say it's a shame he couldn't switch it off he didn't actually say it was affecting the car really imo.
Certainly a great case for taking pride in your work. Difference is this is your job, you know what you're getting all the time or you wouldn't do it. Most of us on here choose which cars we want to work on etc and don't do it as a job so to speak.
Massive amount of respect due for doing s**t...
So that flashing tape actually works? I'm loking into some proper sound deadining but that dynamat stuff is fortunes.
The flashing tape just looks quite thin etc. I'm looking for it to work properly. Good price for so much though.
I wouldn't do it as such as a side job but if it was my only job it just depends really. How much can you get away with charging is the question because that one is bloody hard to price.
Thanks mate. It just sounds proper in person as you know.
Even just after picking it up my boss was moving it and you can hear it, it sounds expensive. It sounds like it's a proper engine in comparison to the sewing machines i've been used to. ;)
