I got my Induction kit. Its an SP08 which isnt like your special one but will hopefully still fit. Ill have to order the hill power bend now. Duh. Anyway, once youve sorted yours out Tom post some pics so we can all copy ;) (and perhaps another vid to confirm our copying action...!)
Hi,
I dont know if this has been posted before, but I was wondering if you knew what power output you have on your cars, including modifications? Ignore the subject, Id like to know the output from all you valver or Williams owners too, infact anyone! Has anyone passed the 200bhp mark yet...
I have an Evo Japanese style 4" exhaust on my Willy 3 and its loud as. When I first got it back I thought it was too noisy but you soon become accustomed to it :)
Ive had my Williams 3 for about a year now, and I had a Williams 3 before that too. Not bored with it at all, its a fantastic car and brings a smile to my face every day :)
However, when I read the review of the 182 in EVO I went ahead and ordered one. Bit hasty perhaps but I fancied something...
The Clio Williams is no doubt an awesome hot hatch, but have you noticed how much bigger newer cars are getting? The 172/182, the new breed of hot hatches, simply towers over the smaller yet just as nimble Williams or 16v. Why are they getting so big? The CTR and Coopers S too. When parked up...
Indeed it is. Well, I suppose I cant listen to 6 CDs at once. Plus I have an Alpine 7878R headunit to go in the 182. Might just sell it though and keep the standard jobbie. Cost me £800 though :(
and dont get a Snooper 715i either. Although it does pick up radar, it also picks up automatic doors on shops, lamp-posts coming on at night, dogs urinating, old women picking sweet wrappers up and anything else it wants to beep at. The trouble is, with a 1 mile 360 degree radius, if youre in...
Actually, as there has been a lot of controversy regarding the infamous 182 no show brochure, I meant to say the Renault price guide (with the spec lists etc in) :)
Tidy Daipac. Cheers bud. Its just that in the brochure I have it claims that the 6 CD is an optional £300 extra? If thats the case I didnt partake in said extra.
Hey guys,
Just a quick question; does the 182 come with a 1 CD slot or is it 6 CD as standard? Should maybe go in the ICE section but hey, its Clio Discussion too :)
I have no idea about the gear ratios, I think they were posted a while ago. Anyway, I have a couple of emails off Induction kit specialists who claim that up to 14bhp is possible with a BMC CDA and the right hosing, or a Pipercross viper and remap. So youre looking at around 193 - 195bhp from...
About 6 years ago I got caught by a radar gun doing 32mph in a 30mph zone. 3 points. How harsh was that? I still have the ticket at home. Then a week later I got caught in the exact same place doing 37mph.
The policeman who stopped me the first time was a right arse. I said to him that it was...
Ive got a Hill Power Induction kit on my Williams 3, pretty impressive. It sounds like a monster on acceleration (just imagine a monster making a loud roaring noise while running or something)
Glad I chose the Hill Power kit, but getting a 182 next week and have already ordered the BMC CDA...
Tidy. Yeah maybe a little overpriced for what it is. I ordered a BMC CDA Induction kit today which came to £210. Ill be ordering a Hill Power bend for around £50 too. Not too bad considering the Viper is still retailing for £260 + in some places. Was quoted up to 14bhp increase and a nice...
I get mine next week bud. Cant wait. Ordering one of those BMC CDA Induction kits tomorrow. Im going to bed it in nicely though. My mates neighbour works for Renault and he has a 182 at the moment, but he changes his car every 3 months and is getting a Megane 225 next. His ECU has just gone to...
lol. Quality. I sent u a PM. I need one of these kits now but dont really understand all the removing cold air feed jibe etc as I havent seen one of these kits in the flesh as it were. Easily done and is it easy to replace the orginal set up for servicing etc?
Coolio bud.
I think the Hillpower one is the choice Ill make. The BMC CDA sounds interesting though. Ill do a search and see what I can find then PM Tom.
Cheers :)
Hi
I was just wondering if anyone has / is going to modify their 182 in the near future? The only thing Im planning for now is an induction kit. If anyone has already completed this modification could I have feedback please? Is it wise fitting such a kit when the car is practically new? Im not...
Ive just been on http://www.carsurvey.orgwww.carsurvey.org and noticed that no one has submitted a Clio 182 review yet. So all you people who have one, get that review submitted! :)
For all the people without a 182, submit your reviews of your car too. Perhaps if somewhere in the review you...
