The first few pages are a bit strange as they all seem to slate the Williams, even though it did better than...
Tis a smart choice, although Im sure Ive seen that plate before...or at least mentioned a few times? :\
Anyway, I bought A18 TOO for my 182 from DVLA. Only £250 all in so not too bad. A18 TWO had already gone. Damn.
Sounds like a waste of time to me. I mean, to keep one eye on the light and the other on the road, youd have to be...well, youd have to be one weird looking dude.
Surely Renault should have included a sensor in the gearknob, which simply sends an electric shock to the driver when he should...
Yeah thats why I was only considering an Induction kit. As its a new 182 I dont want to harm my warranty by changing bits all over the shop. I was told by my local Renault dealer that changing the Induction kit would mean it would only invalidate my warranty if there was a problem with the...
Hi guys,
I was wondering which Induction kit, if any, that you guys and gals have fitted on your 172/182?
This will be the only modification Ill be spending my cash on so I need to pick the right one. Apparently the Viper Induction kit is the most sought after kit for the 172, but it costs...
Tidy. Im presuming youd go for the Arctic blue or would you be after something totally different to your Cup colour wise? Ive opted for Black / Gold although personally I love Cup blue. Cant even see the gold in the black / gold either!
This Malcolm Wilson guy also claimed that petrol is a fine substitute for those so called beans ? Is he talking out of his ass again?? ;)
What car you planning on getting next, if you have a preference at the mo?
I always like Calibras, especially the Turbo model. However, now I see them and cant stand them. They are pretty damn fast alright, and although the FWD conversion has been made, Id much rather have the 4WD (although this does mean when you change a tyre, you change ALL 4 tyres at the same time...
Ive just been talking to my mate about the delivery of my 182 (April 14th hopefully) and got onto the subject of the bedding in period. Stay under 3-4k revs for the first 500 or so miles, then gradually work your way up until the car is properly accustomed to your right foot, and all the...
Isnt the £21.5k import price? I think so. Its imported from Belgium or Renault France and registered first in the UK. No VAT etc to pay, thus saving you the £3k. Few people dont like dealing with imports but I was told that said imported V6 would cost £21k - £22k.
I was going to get mine from Motor Provider. The only drawbacks were they only import the cars (so now Cat 1 alarm) and the logbook is stamped in France, although the car is first registered in the UK. They quoted my 6 - 8 weeks for delivery for the spec I wanted but I changed my mind when they...
I just did a search for A182 TOO, which I bought from DVLA for £250, they claim its worth £240! Mind you, that doesnt include assignment fees etc, so overall it costs £360 ish. Just wait till they catch on what it means! :D
KTEC Racing have an exhaust for it in development, but to avoid warranty issues Im just gonna stick with a Pipercross Viper Induction kit for the moment. That should give it some extra power (claimed 10bhp on the 172 with readout) and a bit more induction noise.
Cant wait, could be a great...
Just pulled up at the petrol station in my Sticker for sale Williams 3 and noticed a guy coming out of the shop looking at my car. Cool I thought. He stood and read the for sale sign and specs, so I got out to put some petrol in. It was then that I noticed him casually walking to the other side...
Dont really want to get involved...but I will! :D
If you remove the ABS, seats, car mats etc etc etc Im sure the 182 will be that fraction quicker than the Cup.
Still, Ive been in a Cup and if the 182 is anywhere near as quick, Ill be happy, even 1/10th of a second happy.
lol, Ive already had the comments, from my good friends at this site!! Thats why Im selling the car! Hehe, but seriously, they came with it. I have the standard lights too, honest! ;)
I might put them back on actually, and retake the pictures!:D
Well, Ive said I would let it go for £5000 with 1 set of alloys and no Alpine head unit (standard stereo included). It has over £1000 of ICE and is in tip top condition. If it doesnt sell Ill just offer it to my mate who has made a reasonable offer too. Some people think £5000 is too little, yet...
Hey guys,
Just paid £250 all inclusive (excluding the actual plates themselves) for the number plater A18 TOO from DVLA :D Was tempted by N18 TWO and a few others but went for the A prefix in the end.
The car is being delivered at the end of March. Cant wait.
Cant believe that the tyre...
I got free insurance for my 182 with Tesco. However, I had to send them £1000 in adavnce to confirm the deal. They called it a premium, whatever that means.
Ive gone for the 182. Newer car, possibly cured the problems of the 172 Cup, great handling, performance is still there, only slightly slower to 60 yet with all the perks of the normal 172 non cup, inlcuding ABS, Climate control etc etc. My only problem now is the damn colour!

Pretty good review of the new kid on the block, and claims the exhaust has a tidy roar. Double cool :)
