Hey guys, Im thinking of removing the Clio badge from the tailgate of my 182 and replacing it with 182 but dont know who makes these chrome badges? I dont want a sticker, Id like the badge to be in the same font style as the sport or Clio badge. Any ideas would be much appreciated :) Cheers.

Actually, in the manual I got with my 182 it claims the cut out is simply for adhering parking tickets. Theres half a page worth of information about it. I have heard its for Sat Nav also.

I say get a BMC CDA :) It sounds great. Mind you so it should for the price...unless you got it for £80 or so quid like Tom...:( Hehe, plus Ive been told it wont affect my warranty unless something goes wrong with the inlet part of things. If it does Ill just put my original box back on.

I dont actually think it matters as the car is superb. But apparently power is increased with the air feed...

Ive had my CDA fitted on my 182 for a couple of weeks now, and it sounds top of the pops. However, its simply an open unit at the front as I have yet to put the cold air hose on it, so its just sitting there facing the grill where from what I can see, not that much air gets in. Anyhoo, earlier...

I love the exhausts on the 182. When you overtake people they know theyve been V6ercised in an exhaustive kinda way ;)

My 182 has a gearchange lunge when cold too, but not really that bad. If you put your foot down as soon as the clutch is raised its not noticeable but when it warms up its cool (in a groovy kinda way, not in a temperature sense...) :)

This is a pretty good topic, as I have the BMC CDA Induction kit and was thinking about the Hill Power bend. If its not worth it then I wont bother, as its a bit expensive for apparently no reason? Hmm...interesting.

Mine has done 750 miles and seems to be opening up pretty impressively over the past few days :) The standard 0-60 time issued by Renault is 7.1 seconds. However, EVO and AutoCar have both run 0-60 tests on the 182, EVOs being 6.6 seconds and AutoCar 6.3 seconds. I think Im right in claiming...

^^^ What Andy said. Mine was really tight on my first Clio Williams, but when loosened a little it was far better and much more enjoyable to drive.

Thats a great price. I paid £13.5k for mine which arrived on Friday. Its an absolute dream to drive and sounds superb with the BMC CDA Induction kit fitted. Only done 400 miles so far but its definitely loosening up every time I drive it and is pretty damn nippy already. So glad that I opted for...

Thats what I originally thought, but when closing the bonnet the noise is still heard, albeit much quieter obviously. Having heard that Lee has heard the same thing on his 172, are there any other owners who have the same noise? Hopefully everyone :)

Cheers Lee. Just curious to know what it is more than anything. It seems like a warning noise under the rocker cover. Perhaps alerting you to the fact that the ignition is on or something. Pretty annoying but if you dont care about it then it makes the noise 100% better :) I do care however :(

The salesman who lives near me has a black 182 too (catchy) and his ECU was fooked after 2 months. Still, got it sorted for nothing within a couple of days. Warranty is good, but these errors shouldnt really be happening. Nothing we can do about it though. Oh well, Im expecting the worst when...
