Like ya say . They are not the cheapest but you have to weigh up the pros and cons . I'd rather pay £20 - £30 more for a tyre that i'm happy with and know is a good performer than save a few quid and not be happy with the handling .
£78.40 delivered from mytyres ...
I'm impressed with the Michelins on my 182 so i'll be sticking with them when i need to replace them . If your happy with em stick with em otherwise if your try a different tyre and your not happy with it then your stuck with em for the next ??000 miles .
The contis that came as standard on...
Agree with wrx 172 . I can't believe it never need to be cleaned , a filters a filter i.e. removing dirt , dust etc so there has to come a time when the filter becomes so dirty that it will not allow the same amount of air through as when it was new .
I just use packetnews for the irc, especially for the latest music. Soulseeks just a peer 2 peer file sharing program for music , give it a try , its good for some of the more obscure and older songs as well . I personally don't touch limewire , bearshare and all that other crap , i used to use...
Sounds like a seized caliper to me . One is braking harder than the other causing it to pull to one side . Get it on a flat car park with no camber and brake hard a few times with your hands off the steering wheel , if its seized it'll wobble the steering wheel .
Not that hard of a problem to...
If its loud now it'll probably get slightly louder after its been on a while . All aftermarket exhausts are louder than the standard exhaust in varying degrees , even those that claim to be the same as standard from what i've read on here do seem to have a slight increase in noise .
You might...
Sounds ok to me . How much exactly is he asking for it and how much do you have to spend ? Theres lots of 172's for sale out there so its a buyers market , loads knocking about for around the £6k mark , check out the autotrader website .If you have any doubts walk away . I'd do an hpi check on ...
Nice result Debz . I like how he chaged his tune as soon as you mentioned the office of fair trading , lol .
Like Kiza says , seems a bit weird why the 14" wheels woudn't fit , but i guess thats not point as you wanted 13" wheels in the first place .
Well done :)
Crikey . I would :) Its not as aggresive as Wonder wheels mate .Don't knock it 'til ya try it !
I saw somebody on detailingworld mention they have used it and it was fine so if its good enough for them its good enough for me :rasp:
I saw a cup about a week or so ago at the traffic lights at the bottom of Bolton rd going towards Blackburn . The guy had black hair and a shortish beard / few days growth with a baseball cap on early to mid 30's ;) , think they had a bird in the front seat . Is that you ??
Its definitely not a feature that you will use alot tbh .So i wouldn't bother mate , too much hassle i'd say .I never use the speed limiter , why would ya , lol .I use the cruise control on the odd occasions , never had it in my 172 and wouldn't miss it if i didn't have it.
I've just tried Aldis own version of Fairy power spray , its called Magnum power spray and its 99p opposed to the Fairy power spray at around £3.50 .
Spray it on , leave for 10 mins then hose it off . Its not really mean't for painted surfaces so make sure the alloys are in good condition...
Bit Torrent for me for the usual stuff , www.araditracker.com first port of call for torrents , then mininova , pirate bay etc ... Soulseek for music , especially some older more obscure stuff .
Mirc for all...
I used the quick detailer over the wax . I even tried doing half the bonnet and half the roof as a comparison and i couldn't see any visible difference . Only thing i have noticed is that when it rains the dust does seem to wash off more than before i used the quick detailer so i guess thats a...
^^^^ A bit confused there Rich :S You said it works , as in not attracting dust then you said it was " dusty as hell " when you got back from FCS .
My cars ok for a day or so after a good wash , wax , anti static QD , but within a few days its back to having a fine coating of dust just as it...
Tbh i dont think the chemical guys anti static QD is that anti static . Granted it is an excellent QD , but i haven't noticed any difference , i still get dust on the car , i think it must be the nature of the wax that attracts the dust more readily.
Can't fault the chemical guys products...
Bearing in mind the Willys are like 10 years old i would say they have held their price really well .Imo i don't even think that the trophys will hold their price that well , after all its a French tin box aimed at a limited market , so i don't think any of the Clios ,whether it be Trophys ,V6's...
