I have the Toad 850T fitted to mine Chris ,its a Cat 1 alarm and it adds on to the factory fitted immobiliser so you still use the original key fob .Had one fitted on my old 172 , now got one on my new 182 . Its got the normal ultrasonics plus a glass breakage sensor so if somebody taps on the...
^^^^ If you check out ebay , some new unprogrammed key fobs pop up from time to time, you would need to get them coded to your car but it would still be cheaper than buying from Renault .Then you would just have to have your old blade fitted to the new fob .
A mixture of water and hair shampoo obviously ! I hear that new hair shampoo from Bernard Manning is sh*t hot . Now let me think , whats it called again ...........??
Oh yeah , i remember now . Its called " wash n fcuk off...
Yeah i would guess so . Better to ask them just to confirm , but i'm 99% sure your cover will only last for 12 months however many replacement keys you have . Sounds a bit crap i know but thats how it is in the UK for all replacement goods not just keys .
You dont get another 12 months each...
^^^^ Thats a bit strange not getting some sort of proof they were replaced . You will get 12 months warranty on the new keys , but if they fail say in 11 months time and they replace them again , your only covered on the original warranty so you will only have 1 month remaining even though the...
I never got an AA assist card when i bought mine new , did you get one Mark ?
When my 182 packed up a few weeks ago i just rang the number for my AA i had which is now frozen and she put it through Renault assist .
Tell them that your not happy as they must have known it is an import with them being a Renault dealer . I'm assuming that ren cust services informed you that you don't get the full 3 year warranty with a cypriot import Al ?
I'd be fcuking fuming to be honest .
All Full fats have the rain sensitive windscreen , even imports . Maybe it has had a new windscreen at some point , even then if should have had the rain sensitive windscreen fitted .
Yeah 3 years AA assist on UK models and most imports . As long as the car isn't imported from Cyprus or Holland .

If your unsure if yours is imported call Renault customer service on this number with your VIN number or reg number and they...
Reading previous posts on here about pmurrays work can only be testament to his knowledge , i've only ever seen good things said about his tuning .
I sure as hell wouldn't trust somebody with dodgy software off ebay on my car anyway ;)
Like thedoc says .You can get away with 205/45/16's which would give you slightly better grip , if you did go for this size of tyre your speedo would read slightly over i.e when your doing 70mph you'll actually be doing 71 mph which is fcuk all as speedos actually read around 1 - 1.5 % over...
Everybody has this problem . Like Gavfre says , go for a stainless one as they cost less than the Renault one and you'll get a lifetime warranty .
I had a catback on my 172 , cost £270 fabricated and fitted by powerflow in Burnley .
Its dead easy mate . Get yourself one of the one man eezibleed kits from Halfords , get 2 litres of good brake fluid , likedave3141 says castrol respones dot 4 , always better to have some extra just in case you have a bit of a spill .
I just take one wheel of a time .
8mm spanner for...
Mix up a solution of shampoo and water in a spray bottle , spray the front of the car , this rehydrates and softens all the dried on flies etc ..... then power wash em off . Works everytime .Or if you have no powerwasher a lambswool wash mitt will shift em once they have softened up .
All...
Thats why i do it illegally , no hassle with the songs , do whatever ya want with em .They're not exactly tempting people to buy music legally when you can't do what you want to do with the song once you've bought it . When will they ever learn ;)
They are torx screws so you need a T30 torx bit . You can get away with using a flat blade screwdriver on a torx screw but its always best to use the correct tool for the job . Just an example of what they look like . You can usually pick up a cheap set for a few quid ...
Your best bet Maz , is to get somebody local , maybe off here who knows what they are doing to show you then you can do it yourself in the future .
Its not hard , plus then you can change it as often as you like and you know that its definitely getting the best oil .
^^^^ You could probably make some like i did out of aluminium sheet , whereas i pop riveted mine on in the original holes , you could epoxy resin them onto the original pedals underneath the rubbers .
Probably cost you about £15 tops for both the ally sheet and expoxy , plus you'll have...
Cheap as chips at the minute , let the bidding war begin , lol .
Why do people always bid straight away on items , 6 days and 21 hrs left , its always won in the last few seconds anyway if its gonna be popular .
