Well that would mean that the 197 isn't the best car ever made, and that simply isn't possible.
:p
My rear brakes were stripped and cleaned with new pads added and few months ago and it still froze today. I don't think strip/clean will fix it on this occasion. It's a simple case of they were...
The only one I can find on Maplins website for a reasonable price is this one http://www.maplin.co.uk/250gb-intenso-portable-external-hard-drive-676506
I have a suspicion that it may be a website only product, and not available in stores. Might be worth checking before making the trip.
My driveway is quite steep so not using the handbrake is quite difficult! Last night I parked ont he road though, gettting off my drive with frozen brakes would have been a challenge!
Mine was the same this morning, stupidly left it on last night!
I didn't have the time to free them off so just drove to the bottom of my road, the heat generated soon released them! lol
Might be worth a look in Comet, they're selling a load of stuff off (although not very cheap really)
Ebuyer do next day delivery on orders up to 9pm, might save you a few quid if you can wait for a day?
How is that even possible? Mine is only a few quid cheaper than that and i'm 30. I know location has a lot to do with it but I don't think that can be the only factor in this. I can only guess that this wasn't a policy in your name?
I personally would do it at 10k or every 12 months. 2 years is far too long IMO.
Cambelt is 6 years or 72k
Spark Plugs are 36k (no time limit)
Fuel filter is 144k (it's part of the pump)
Air filter 2 years or 24k
Coolant & brake fluid is 4 years or 72k
Leave well alone, or at least make them apply for a replacement V5 from the DVLA before going ahead with a purchase. It only takes a week or so to receive it.
My wifes is a nice car, I wanted her to buy and FR (it has a nicer interior and better options on the wheels) but she didn't like the red stitching on the steering wheel. It's cheap to run, cheap to tax, well specced for a standard car (A/C, CD, MP3, electric mirrors, windows etc etc)
How about something like this Seat Ibiza? little 1.2 turbo, simple remap gives about 125-130 bhp. My missus has the same engine (but with the DSG auto 'box). It will average 40+ mpg all day long and actually goes quite well...
Both have the auto function on my 197, up and down, drivers and passengers (and from the passenger switch also)
I think you have something wrong, might be time for a new switch. If it's in warrenty take it back.
Sorry I worded my post wrong. I understand that I would be using the ipad as a controller, but my concerns are that the contecnt will be streamed from my PC to my Ipad, then airplayed to the Apple TV. Doesn't this mean a lot of WiFi bandwidth will be in use?
To be honest I've not tried plex, I quite like the apple interface and being able to use the apple tv without using my iPhone or iPad.
Ill give plex a try though, I might be converted. I presume I would AirPlay content from my phone or iPad to the apple tv?
Yes, iTunes on the server pc. Download HD films in MKV format, convert to MP4 using mkvtomp4 converter (takes about 20 mins for a 10gb file. Can keep the subtitles, languages etc. Takes maybe 1 - 1.5 hours to download, extract, convert.
Apple TV 3 for me, server PC set up in the loft with a whole host of movies, tv programs etc, news groups, 120mb broadband and software called 'logmein' (for remote control of the PC through my Ipad, my ipad essentially becomes my PC screen, keyboard and mouse)
Job done.
Hi all,
I plan on calling Esure about this later today but though't i'd ask on here to see what people think.
Basically, my car is insured in my name with the wife as a named driver. She had a stroke last december and only recently got her licence back. She has a full licence, but has a few...
The link above clearly states it is only a fail if they fail to relocate without assistance when lowered back onto the ground.
As for the rear brakes, I would WANT my car to fail if the rear brakes weren't doing anything!
