Are the megane pads and discs the same as the 172/182 ??
I know when i got some front pads and discs for my old 172 they were the same as the lagunas .
Had greenstuff pads and discs on my PUG 306 , the pads do wear down quick but other than that no problems with em , plus you get fcuk all brake dust on your wheels ;)
Where did you order them from Day ? And for what car ??
Usual Renault interior rattles , easy to live with , some worse than others . Steering knockin on right hand full lock , can be made right under warranty , mine does it but can't be bothered gettin it sorted as it not detrimental to the cars performance , its only a slight knock anyway . Some...
I would imagine that they will say it is a lifetime guarantee for the car for " that " owner on the receipt . My mate had a similar issue a few years ago with a scorpion exhaust .
I'd go and see em , and blag it . Tell them that your the guy on the receipt , they must have done hundreds of...
Like Stevo evo says , You won't get a straight answer off us lot , lol .
Best thing to do is go and drive a couple , 172 ff's , cup and 182's with cup suspension , then make your judgement . Different colours also in the 172's and 182's .
I've been driving em for over 5 years and i still...
mk2 172 and the newer 182's interior , seats , crap driving position are both the same .
Having owned my 172 and 48k under its belt i can honestly say that my 182 with cup suspension and slightly wider tyres is miles better in terms of handling . Looks better than the 172 with the twin...
Heres a pic of the rear disc with the abs ring , the ring in the middle with teeth , the front discs don't have an abs ring fitted .Get your self a haynes manual , both front and rear disc / pad changing is easy .Plus get yourself a brake bleeding kit and some new dot 4 brake fluid .Castrol...
I've had a mk2 172 , now got a 182 with cup packs . The 182 handles hell of alot better than the 172 did , better suspension on the 182 , better grip from the standard michelin exalto tyres .
I'd go for the 182 ff with cup packs if i were you mate .
Without stating the obvious , have you checked your fan belt , is it tight enough .Or maybe you have an air lock , i had one in my pug 306 and it used to get hot very quickly . Run the engine with the top off the coolant reservoir / radiator .
Sounds like the coolant has seen better days ...
Fronts and back are both a piece of p*ss . Can't undestand anybody paying to have em done .
If in doubt get a Haynes manual or just have a read of the ones in Halfrauds.
I keep missing the Reg number , lol , always seem to see him when i'm looking at something else . I'll have a spin round after and have a look before i stick mine away for the night .
He's never waved or anything , just flashed to let me out last night .
Hmmmm , what do ya call older ...
I used these at the weekend for the first time . Miles better than the little megs foam applicators i used to use . Easier to hold as well because they are bigger plus they seem to spread the wax , polish etc.... better ...
First look at the rear brake caliper .
Along the bottom , holding the brake pads in is a small angled metal bar about 30mm in length with a spring retaining clip in it . Pull the small spring retaining clip out with some pliers .
With the retaining clip removed , get a small flat...
As far as i know they are different plugs on the back of the tuner list ( 172 ) and update list (182 ) headunits , even though they look like the same headunit .
Looks like that is the part number . The guy saying CHA or CHM that is the model number .
Like on here .

The one i had in my 2001 mk2 172 was this model on ebay ...
Stating the good aren't fit for pusrpose ( sale of goods act ) might be all well and good in the world on consumer goods , but to say that its not fit for purpose because it's too loud would be a different ball game i think .
Define loud ? One persons loud isn't always necessarily another...
