If you read the small print, it usually says 'wifi enabled' however you still need to buy a wifi dongle for it. There aren't many TV's with wifi built in (not low budget ones anyway)

Did you check the oil level when it flashed empty this morning, or did you just drive it? Don't trust the dash readout anyway mate, it's never really all that accurate. I would always use the dipstick personally. To be honest you probably wouldn't notice it smoking whist driving unless it got...

If it's anyhting like the 197, it's the headlight bulbs that are a pain, not the sidelights.

The 197/200 wheels wear just as badly as the 1*2's, so please don't buy one just because you think it'll last longer!

I'd be very suprised if any Renault dealers kept this in stock. They don't even keep stabiliser links in stock at any dealers near me, all special order. Usually here next day though if you order early enough. Chris

5 years or 72k on the 197, they increased it to 6 years on the 200 as far as I am aware (weirdly it's the same parts on the 200 though??)

With that budget, don't buy a 197. A 5k 197 will not be great (unless you are very lucky)

I have to agree, the mk4's can easily see 180bhp with very little cost and will still return 40+mpg all day long. Having said that, they still handle like a boat unless you throw cash at the suspension! A mapped one should easily see off a Fiesta ST

Nothing wrong with it, just a different beast to the Astra that's all! I owned a 1.4 Auto Clio (briefly, it was a money making exercise. Given it for free, sold for £1,100!) It was a great little motor!
