I haven't been in the back seat for ages . But from memory i think my middle one is black for the seat belt that pulls down . Its probably so ya know which one is for the middle and whch one is for the side seat belt.

If its not detrimental to the cars performance i'm unsure whether to let the renault monkeys start grinding away at the strut mounts , they'll probably only cause some other problem when i got the car back ,lol . Mine seems to do it more when its cold , not been driven all night and straight...

Apparently its a common fault reading other threads on here . Mine does it and its only done 862 miles .

Its bad enough changin the indicator bulbs on a 182 , think you have to take the bumper off to change the side lights , impossibile to get your hands in :(

Thats weird ! Thye can't even get somethin' simple like the service books right , doesn't put much confidence in em does it . Did your try phoning some other local Renault dealerships and askin em what the service covered , air filter , cabin filter etc.... Heres a pic of my service book just...

According to my 182's service book . Its 24,000 miles or 2 years for the air filter , 12,000 miles or 2 years for the cabin filter . Personally i would want the airfilter changing every 12,000 miles . When i had my 172 serviced i filled up the screenwash to the top before i took it in . When...

I think the key to the touch up being a success is not to put too much paint on each time . Let it dry before the second , third coats etc.... build it up slowly so its slightly proud .

I use Tescos microfibre cloths for drying , only £1.37 , absolutely sh*t hot :) machine washable !

I wouldn't hold my breath on the quote for £500 next year if your paying £1300 now . I can't really see em droppin £800 . They wouldn't even give me a quote on my old 172 last year . They said they have stopped insuring this model .

Had a ff 172 , now got a ff 182 . Prefer the looks of the 182 back end , twin exhaust . Traction control and esp in the 182 also , even though i think some of later 172's might have had traction/esp iirc . I like the anthracite wheels better on the 182 with cup packs , suspension feels a little...
