Storage for bolts, nuts, screws, fittings PLEASE

How many bolts you got? I have a mix of Stanley fatmax and raaco boxes. They're both decent. I also have a couple of these that are decent for the money Clicky Or get a s**t load of the open bins but they'll get covered in dust.

    SGS Wheel dollies

I think it's down to centre of gravity, @dann2707's COG is basically in line with the wheels, where as a full hight person will be closer the window.

No problem, unlike the red army I'm not particularly moody when someone buys a different brand and won't go on slating your mum and sister 🤣. I actually think for mechanical works Milwaukee is a better brand with better tools. The impact wrenches and ratchets look brilliant for their use and...

    Power Tool Perverts

As @Yorkshire Pudding says, I'm well invested in makita as a prosumer I think the term is. I have pretty much one of everything they offer across the 18v lxt tool and garden range and some plug in stuff. I sense you've already bought Milwaukee, which I've never used myself. Seen a few people...

    The new tool thread

f**king savage, but Dan does have a point. I spend more time grinding than welding! They were about £250 for both sets. Definitely not cheap but I'm a sucker for nice things.

    Sky Cancellation

I left them a couple of months ago. Guy offered something half arsed and said another team may be in touch. I told him to make sure it's within the month as I have a new service starting the day I leave. Lo and behold, 4 weeks into my new contract with a n other they called to offer me a super...

    Power Tool Perverts

Got this yesterday. 36v 230mm angle grinder. It feels fairly well made but the battery location is properly stupid. Having the two batteries as they are makes the back of it too wide to move around. When I use a grinder I like to keep it fairly close to control any kickback and cut a better...

Did you just take a swipe at the power of snap on tools because someone commented on a loose battery of Milwaukee???

Garage / Workshop drawers & rollcabs

Update, got a decent price on this kit so bit the bullet. Being a bit OCD I've always liked the idea of the bin and blue roll holder so thought why not. So, given the size of it I've had to split the elements apart and put them separate in three blocks. Currently looks like this; With 4...

Just to help, the big Makita stuff is either 36v double battery and 40v single battery.

You said 12v xx The 54 volt basically links 3 18v batteries to give 54v.

    The new tool thread

As for how hard can it be? Well it depends on the kit. A cheap welder will be less precise and make things harder. No need to go balls deep on something mega, but I'd definitely be looking at second hand on marketplace or ebay first.

    The new tool thread

Got some magnetic shims for spacing whilst welding. Expensive but should make jigging up a lot easier. Whilst ordering I thought it'd be rude not to get some more clamps.

Kyle's mum has played a blinder here. There's no way Kyle is being reimbursed £300 for that, she knew full well sending him something s**t would get him running to Nathan wallet in hand. Meanwhile she'll be wrapping it up "with love from mummy Kyle" and getting sent the the moon on Christmas...

    Power Tool Perverts

If you're looking at mechanic's tools and general hand power tools I'd stick with Milwaukee. If you're doing bench works and big free standing tools / chop saws etc then go for Makita.

    Power Tool Perverts

Not fishing for Kyle or Dan again but a lot of people overlook the consumables. They're like the tyres of power tools. Most cheaper tools are used with cheaper bits hence the s**t performance, whilst those with nicer gear use nicer consumables and get double boost of quality. A cheap tool can...
