They squeek ther give a hard ride and they arn't desinged for a Clio theyre just harder bearing Renault spent a fortune developing dampers they didn't just go get somne stuff material and stick them in for good reason.
I know a few people who had them fitted then got them taken off again...
Same crack sizes. The early 1.8 16V have hbig heavy conrods.
Depends what train fo thought your going down the early 1.8 16v are the strongest but have weight in them.
Race cars your right are different plus are mapped for race use which is different than road use.
People have been knokcing cheap copies of these off for ages.
Single point injection cars are 55.8 liters an minute
Multipoint none 1.8 16V are 80 liters an hour
1.8 16V and Williams are 130 liters an hour
The 55.8 liter pump is in theory powerful enough to pump 185hp but in reality and for longevity stick with the pump from the doner car or...
Get a Haynes manaul. Will give you pictures.
Basiclly remove the cover
disconnect the wiring and the pipe work noting which pipe goes where.
Note where the arrow on the locking ring is sitting
Now the pump is held in with a sort of screw top for a jar but theres no top its just a...
IMO only get a custom made remap I don't like any of these ebay chips.
Don't forget to add on the that you need to get an electrical expert to solder in the socket to plug the new chip in on the ECU it won't just plug strgith in so thats extra money.
ou could try soldering it yourself but...
I agree nothing wrong with none dust sealed realy just need to maintain them more check them for rust and maybe rebuild them ever one to two years but the parts are cheap.
I'd personaly always buy dust sealed as I'm lazy
Strip it to nothing then throw the spax stuff in the bin and stick stock back on or spend a load of money on decinet suspensin.
Then get some decinet tyres and learn how to drive the car to its limits safly.
Coolent shouldn't drop at all check the rad and the pipes for holes.
If its a 172 the washer tansk can crack and leak new ones the only real fix. IF not check the connectros on the tank.
Its common enough circuip breaks in them and the car doesn't move.
You can change them with and and box in quite easy it can be a pian sometimes though as it takes loads of tryies to gte right.
Only cheap the circlips.
Are your 310mm pads just via a spaer don't forget as 280mm disks ar a different size and won't fit right unless you have the right carrier etc or whatever they used to make the big disks work.
Personaly I'd go with ds2500 only realy. They do squek a bit but nothing much depends how picky and...
Stock suspension or spent a fortune IMO.
Stick with road legal normal stuff till your realy iused to the car on the limit.
Ligthening good just makes the tail a bit light.
Strutbrace will only make a noticable different with aftermarket suspension realy and if its properly bolted or...
Only way to be sure it to measure 99% of the time the mk2 phase 2's are 58mm then the Mk2 phase 1 usualy 52mm for the 1.2 1and 1.4 54mm for the 1.4 and 1.6 and 58 for the 1.6 16V
I'd always chnage both bearings at once they do wear about even assuming you don't play hit the curb.
As for shocks personally stick with stock or go to expensive stuff ie H and R preferably coilovers.
Yep Brians right.
Pumps have on very rare occasions had bad connections or got stuff stuck in them but then shows up as not starting at all or yuou could tell it winns, or very limited power.
