If you've got an old type license with either B + E or B1 ( I think ) then you can tow a trailor over 750kgs. If it's a newer license you can't tow anything that weighs more than 750kgs without doing a test.

Been trying to work out what its got, but think its jst a 182 FF
Just rang the guy turns outs its not a cup but its got the goodies in the car like cruise control which is what i was after. The belts have been done and its on a 54 reg and in black.
Even though its not a cup still think its a good price.
Guy who I have been talking to has offered me his 182 cup for £4700. It's done 53k miles has fsh and the car is in excellent condition. Is this a good price given the current climate?

They changed to bodies after 2001 if i remember correctly. I really wouldn't bother if i'm honest. I'm half way through putting R1 carbs on my 205 GTi and its a pain in the a**e. Its cost me about £450 so far and they will need setting up and constantly adjusting.

I had exactly the same problem, found out the cause was one of the dampers was knackered. Caused the car to feel like the back was slipping out round a corner.
I've got a knocking noise coming from the rear of my clio and its driving me nuts. It sounds like its coming from the drivers side rear shock. Don't think the shock is broken because i put new spax coilovers on 6 months ago. Wonder if it could be the rear beam mounts? Going to check the engine...
I've got the same sort of noise. Sounds like something as rattling on the rear struts. But can't be that the struts are nackered because i replaced mine not long ago. Think it could maybe be the rear axel mounts. Any ideas?
Mine's making a funny knocking noise from the back of the car. Its driving me nucking futs. Think its coming from one of the rear sturts, not sure though. For the sake of my sanity does anyone have any ideas?
