Just go to any repair garage and ask them to price up a quote send to the other insurance company that and another one from another company tell if if they don't get back in 2 weeks you'll take legal preceedings. Thats will speed them up.
New drums?? There £35 or so idealy you need to check what type yours are as there three types one is a very rare one the other two are semi common there one which is the most common I forget which.
But there fine for 80k Even mine still had 5k life on them at 70k and i do track days etc.
If you think about it revs double from second to first roughly. IE 3k in first is 6k in second so gearbox syncros have to get it right from 5th to 4th its not as huge a chnage.
Who knows mine or 83k (I think). The 100k is when I'm going to start worrying when my warently runs out. particualt as those injectors are famous for having trouble at high milage along with pumps.
Nope sorry will have a look when I get a second its about 100th in the list of jobs to do at the moment not enough time in the day.
Ok as for my car never checked the exact mpg at those speeds but
at 110+ (basically flat out for about 40 miles in Germany) it does 37mpg.
At 30mph err goes...
It looks like its quite good never tried it myself I'd always spend the few quid and use the Castrol Super response stuff £11 or so it is for a liter. Its got a higher boiling point for starters.
Depends what you intedn to do with the car for road use I'd use Elf Pro silkine in 5-40 spec. For race or track days I'd use the Millers 5-40.
Plugs, filters and leads stock are the best. You will find out what a pain chnaging the filter is so if you want to spend some £££ you can get remove...
Luck of the draw, I know of engines stock which at 20k have had trouble.
65mpg hum don't belive you realy you need to drive harder. Either that or your trips not working (likly).
No need to touch the fuel filter its fine for 150k.
That belts sound like the cambelt you want an AUX kit. Cambelt will be £80 ish aux belt about £30 ish.
There a few different belts idealy work out how big yours is and use that to buy the right one.
Oil fitler Halfords or personaly use...
Personaly you need to drive them all and better still a few of each as you get good and bad ones the hammered ones are often the 65hp ones so quicker than they would be. This is due to the fact they were free insurance when your young and loads of young people bough them and hammered them...
I wouldn't I've heard more than one negative comment about Koni stuff plus there adjustable shock are usless IMO as they only work right on one setting.
Yep any can be fitted.
You can remove the whole lot if you want 4 bolts hold it in then undo the gear stick selector under the car pull the carpet round it.
