Right you need to check your door sensor sounds like its got wet and failed thats causing the alarm some trouble since it thinks the doors still open.

YEp your right. Cups are the heavy weight then again costs are less and at the end of the day the extra weight is minimal battery in the boots a huge chnage in respect.

The rings can be bought seperate apparently although I cannot find proof (never having looks realy). The rings can be removed though they whould have a part number on them if there a seperate part. Could always have gone to a scrappei and got a shaft even a bust one and got the ring off it...

Might have been cannot be to sure. Some people have it done early at 3 years or so. The problems years ago with broken engine made a lot of older people be quite protective about it.

Re: How can you tell a 12 has the cup suspension upgrade? Need to go to Renault but even then thats not for sure. Check the measurments from the strut bolts if the measurent is 60mm its got cup packs if its 54 its not got it. To see the strut get the car on full lock

Renault type D coolent is what you should use £30 or so it is. To drain easy way is to unplug the lower rad hose and drain it out via there unplug the bleed nipple as well. Then put them both in and fill system up use the bleed nipple to get it full properly.

Done corectly and you don't use any off the shelf junk.

4 ohms is a better value to use others have had trouble with lower ones. Maplins or any decient electrics replair shop will have them.
