if i can make myself more visable down tight country lanes then sidelights do the job. I dont know anybody who would use them to park. use them when already parked up yes. anyway, so if I have sidelights turned on at the stalk, will the autolights take over and put headlights on when it gets darker?

this is my first Xmas in my own house so looking forward to getting the tree as we always had an artificial one at the family home. seems a bit strange planting a tree in my living room but hey, festive spirit and all.

haha. Yeah I know what you mean. You would be surprised how these 172/182's go round a track with very little done to them. depends how much bhp you want though :) if your going 200+bhp then your talking £££.

hi and welcome Stu. if I were you I would either; A. Do as you said above and go and see Chi. He knows his stuff. B. Go and buy a half decent 172/182 and have fun doing it up. Gives you something to do and you will enjoy it a lot more on track. C. Do B with a car from A (option c ftw)

FK are a decent brand for the price of the springs. For road use they are fine, better than standard anyway.

172 or 182? title says 172, then you put 2003 182? 172 alloys but you are getting 182 ones? confused :p

managed to get the splitter on today. Was a pretty straight forward job. Hardest part was probably trimming the edges at the right angle so I just used electrical tape to get a visual of if and got a thin circular blade to cut off the overhang. the second pic gives you an idea of how much bigger...

update: new plates on, French flag grill stickers (I made these, can make more) and have bought a Fabia splitter but I'm yet to fit that.

cheers for the reply's. what's the reason for changing back to OEM topmounts with standard shocks? and why wouldn't you run aftermarket springs with non cup shocks? if it hasn't got cup shocks on I will be changing to them but just curious.

looking to get me some cooksport springs for the 172 (non cup) my questions are; the previous owner has had ktec topmounts fitted which leads me to believe he may of changed the shocks to cup shocks. However he may not have so how do I tell the difference between standard and cup shocks? also...
