cheers. is there any difference in ride height between cup and non cup shocks? I only ask as the guy I bought it off has put ktec topmounts on so I'm not sure if its standard shocks or cup.

are these ok to run with non cup 172 shocks?

Got it off already. Had to snap the chrome surround to get the plates out then unscrew the backing plate off. 3/4 plates on now :)

found the website a bit confusing (mobile version) so is it £25 a year, 7 meetings to take your car round the track and then the proper sprint events you can enter if you feel like it? sounds quality if I've read it right.

I thought so. Just wanted to double check :) a quick update, ive got the surrounds off the plates now. Just waiting for my 3/4 to arrive from fancyplates. Hopefully it doesn't take to long as ive got the front plate on the dash at the moment

I had the mk3. Was nice to drive and handle but it was riddled with little annoying problems electrically. Also replaced the clutch about 5 times. Had to have the pedal box welded as my foot went through it. great looking car though :)

have had cambelt kit, aux kit, dephaser all done for peace of mind. Feels a lot tighter all round and is running sweet as a nut from cold. May go and get it timed up but to be honest it feels as good as it can. the chav surrounds are coming off the plates and have ordered a 3/4 for the front...
