    Rear Diamond Help

Bumps trips? :S I take it you mean bump strips lol, anything with a smooth surface will need keying mate, it helps the primer stick.

    Strange starting problem

So many people are having this problem at the moment, including me. I'm almost convinced it's the starter motor, but reading your posts has worried me now, mine only has the relay clicking in the morning or after it's been left to sit for a few hours. I'll keep an eye on this thread in the...

Uneven tyre wear, Macpherson strut play?

The first thing i'd do is spend £20quid down your local tyre place for a wheel alignment, it may just be that simple mate. It's only £20quid and it will either eliminate the problem, or rule it out so you can look elsewhere.

When was the last time you had a wheel alignment, and have you checked that the top mounts aren't loose?

    Rear Diamond Help

Yes, the boot lock just pushes and pulls a metal rod, so if you climb into the back you can push or pull it yourself. (can't remember which one opens) If you have a spare day or afternoon, you can get all the spraying and lacquering done and refit it same day, you just have to be very careful...

The colour I used on my diamonds and bullets was Rover Stone grey, it's the closest match for Renault Anthracite. What colour is your car?

Make sure you buy plastic primer though, I bought normal primer and it worked but plastic primer will do a better job. Have you sprayed stuff before?

Will the Dephaser Pulley fail and Destroy the engine.

Danny at 519 repaired an engine where the dephaser had shredded itself, the last time I was there he told me he'd never seen one fail quite like that. The pics are on here somewhere.

    Big Smash on m62

If they were inside that thing, I can't believe anyone survived long enough to be taken to Hospital, judging by the state of it you'd think the only way of getting a body out of that is with a sponge. :S

    Big Smash on m62

I was in heavy traffic on the A46 today coming home from work, getting all worked up and frustrated when I realised at any moment I could easily have a crash and be seriously injured or worse, it made me calm down and increase the distance from the car in front. It's scary how quickly things...

    Rear Diamond Help

Mate it is honestly so easy. Just undo the screw on the inside of the boot by the interior handle recess, pull hard on the plastic cover on the inside and it will just pop off, then undo the 3 nuts holding on the rear diamond section, then pull it off from the outside.....done! I've recently...

Holy sh*t that looks bad, got to be some fatalities there. :( Unless they rear ended the Passat, got out, then the car was destroyed by another vehicle, hope so or a family out there is in for a bad year.

West Mids Rolling Road - Saturday 9th of June

This morning i've found a small patch of coolant under the rad, it wasn't doing it yesterday, it's literally started over night. :dapprove: So that's something else that need sorting before the 9th, I thought the thing was ready seeing as it's just had new tie rods & track rod ends. I'm...

    New alpine concept vid...

That's one hell of a f*cking noise the thing makes!! Although I don't think Renault will be happy until the front Diamond on their new cars is the size of a dustbin lid. :S

Another Eibach Spring Question - Not Found The Answer Yet

If you can get cheap cup shocks from a mate i'd go with that for the time being, as long as they're in good condition you're good.
