If you fancy a trip down to Lichfield one weekend I can strip it, repair it and rebuild it whilst you go for a walk around the shops 👍🏻
200 looks nice and clean too!
The fault described sounds like a fuelling issue to me - ie the pump can’t meet the demands. It could even be something simple like low voltage at the pump!
In a lot of conversions people think you can just put a bigger in tank pump in place, but there’s so many other things that need to be...
Here’s one of the pics that Mossy sent to me:
And here’s a few more of some scenic road trips and Donington Park whilst in my ownership:
And the final shot of FKU as she set off for her new home in Scotland:
On the day at Donington it was absolutely flying - the only mk2 that came past me was...
Yeah I’ve had issues on MP, but I’m PS4 and playing modern warfare. It’s been laggy for ages, so I think I need to rebuild the database and see if that improves things. But I just can’t be f**king arsed. Lol
You can also move the engine as far over to the drivers side to try and alleviate the problem.
You should’ve been told this by whoever fitted the diff mate really - it’s such a common occurrence!
PS4 was perfectly fine last night, and not one single game crash for me. HTH. 👀
I must’ve passed on the game crashing to @Yorkshire Pudding as he was out the game more than he was in 🤣🤣
Sounds like your experience was the same as mine then mate. Didn’t suffer the map/texture issues though.
We had a win but my game froze and booted me 😂
So when I was in games with Baker, it was ok and I could come out of the game with my party (I was party leader). Then Kyle came in with us and the game started blowing it’s own brains out mate. Was in Bakers party and every time we came out of a game, the PS4 froze up and it was coming up with...
If you put the oil in that gripper recommend you’ll kill the synchros. That is as guaranteed as day turns to night, and night turns to day.
Redline mtl, or mt90.
Ultimately mate, you run whatever oil you want in the box. The main reason for my sway towards redline is because of the oil spec...
Just hot wire a 12v feed to the exciter on the alternator and see if it starts charging when the engine is running. That’s pretty much all that wire does anyway.
Confirms the fault and gives you a direct place to start fault finding.
These are the pin numbers I’ve got and wiring colours from when I did my custom loom using the gen90:
Earth - pin 15 - green wire
Signal - pin 16 - purple wire
Supply - pin 78 - 5v white/possibly pink wire
@Angrypenguin
Does it get 5v if you unplug it? You also need to trace the supply back to the ecu and measure the output there.
A break in a wire would indicate 0v, so this sounds more like a resistance in the supply voltage if you still see 3.5v with the sensor unplugged.
Measure again and report back...
Have you checked that you’re getting voltage to the pressure sensor? The 2000bar may just be a default value the ecu sees when the sensor loses voltage/has a fault.
