    Ooops didn't read that right I though you asked for 77 DF 078 is for driver insolation sensor circuit. Its short circuit to +12 volts or +5 volts. Check insulation of the connection:computer connector track A17 (A18 in DD)track 2 insolation sensor (fix if needed). if its still wrong replace...

    The dealerships is rubish if they cannot find what that problem is DF 077 is the drivers insolation sensor circuit its short circuited to +12 v or + 5 V Its the insolation sensor. Tell the dealerships it noted in technical note 3385A

    Diesel Mk2 Clio. You do need to b a bit dedicated to get 8.30 in near stock cars. 9 minutes is easy.

    warranty help

    As iI said before I woulnd't buy any aftermarket waranties warnties dirct the biggest place I know and and I've heard stories of them being difficult so places which are smaller will be even worse. The only worthwhile warenties are the manurfactures own usually as they put there name on them...

    Yep loose bolts can make any number of different noises but since there a common problem check them.

    8.30 in a Cup with suspension took 3 seocnds longer stock i think pads were DS3000 and 2000 though. Sub 9 minutes is dead easy with more practive I'm at almost 10 now with 100hp less.

    suspension for a 1.2...

    Don't bother with SPAX stuff I had there RSX kit and the rear dampers keep failing and they keep cliaming to have fixed it and hty havn't I went though 4 sets of dampers in 6 months before I sold the kit. Fitments easy. Best get a garage to do the tracking but even thats easy enough.

    Best in terms of what? You cna get a 1.8 T engine fitted for £7~8k with 280hp and tunning for the VAG 1.8t is almost off the shelf 350hp can be bought off the shelf as a package for a reasonble sum.

    Buy a second cat and smash the internals out of it. if get a broken cat and get a pipe of pipe and weld the two attachemtns off the normal cat to it. I'm sure there a place whish does sports and decats though best do a search on here and google.

    Yep most likely wheel nuts, they are prown on Clios to come loose if there not torqued up.

    You want springs and shocks or depending on milage you might fine new bushes etc will get your where you want to be.

    Depens what you want the car for/to dao/like in a car. Engine tunning not cost effective suspension or brakes first.

    I wouldn'y bother with any of the aftermarket stuff. There always to many get out clauses. Or rules like you pay and we think about refunding you depend what our enginers thing is to blame. Most garage warentlies arn't worth the paper there written on you do have rights though do a google...

    197 diffuser cause drag ?

    The drag from it will be minimal. IMO not having it won't make any real difference for 99.99% of people. Infact removing it might make for a more draggy shape. The big isue is the fact the gearbox isn't desinged for high speed work.

    Exhaust can be made to fit Yep 1.1 day and night mounts I belive. GTT engine nice and simple wiring won't be huge. Brakes I'd upgrade and use the 259mm sets from Williams/Valvers etc. I think shafts are fine but you need the gearbox realy although I've been lead to belive (never checked)...

    MK1 Oil Change

    Halfords sell them £2k or so. Or if your cheap you can use a suitable sizes screwdriver or the square metal bit which joints the handles together so the open doors fits apparently.

    Humm brings back great memories they do. I take it your front lines are long enough as I've heard some companies 4 pots Williams front lines weren't long enough. Edit - Thats for the note Fred.

    ph quick suspension advice...

    That price is the top end of normal springs and damper but won't stretch to coilovers I don't think you might get FK's for the price and you could fit them yourself.

    They won't work the lines are longer plus connection are probably different.
