Stock brakes are more than enough with some decinet pads even on track you should be fine with stock pads. Aftermarket good hard pads and you should never have fade.

Different boxes the Williams is the stronge one JC5 vs JC 3 for the valver one. Its got a stronger casing plus gears are stronger and 5th longer. They can be used though many people use them without any trouble.

Have a search on the net there a load of free programs out ther which can use the KWP 2000 protocall and there even circuit diagrams for how to make them. Elmscan and digimoto do run KWP 2000 I belive from memory.
