As above as optical says, it all depends on what needs replacing tbh.
It may only need a few synchros and seals (£90 ish) or it may need gears, synchros, bearings and seals (£380 ish).
Check the earth crowns aren't loose under the dash top mate. Seen them create loads of weird faults like locking/unlocking the car and the rear wiper moves!! Wtf?! Lol
You need to take it from either the ecu or the coil pack wiring. There's 3 wires at the coil pack, but you don't want the thickest wire of the 3. The other 2 are the ones to tap into - you just need to decide which one to cut and join up with.
I can try and find out the ecu PIN numbers if you...
If you want to improve the torque, Grp n cam timing works very well with the rs2.
If you're after peak bhp for the pub talk, then 197 cams are what you need.
I ran the new R888R tyre in 205/45 16 flavour. Awesome tyres and better grip than 888's. You won't get anything sticky in 195/45 16 so you'd have to go 195/50 16 for a wider choice.
Kumho V70A's are worth a look as well. You can get those in soft, medium and hard compounds.

197 head on a 1*2 bottom end will lower the compression...
Haha! I thought everyone on here knew that was me in the video tbh! It's been bandied around a good few times now.
What you need to set a decent lap time at the ring are:
Track knowledge
Balls
No traffic or bell ends.
Unfortunately the latter is nigh on impossible now in tf as it's just far...
That's because it wasn't! Lol! Everything has sold mate now apart from the turinis and the gearbox (for obvious reasons), but I have someone interested in it once it's been repaired.
I've been in conversation with Richard now for a good few months as he was keen for me to build them an engine...
The graph is a few pages back mate.
Yeah I can see the problem immediately. The mk2 head is s**t. The ports are too big and had material removed from the wrong areas, they're the wrong design and the valves are also shrouded.
Combustion chamber on the mk3 head is far superior, as are the...
