wat im gettin at is if i upgrade the cams would the rest of the car handle it ok (i.e. gearbox, clutch) as i dnt wna have to be replacing stuff like that on a frequent basis

im thinkin of upgrading my cams on my engine, wat difference wud it make n is it hard on the engine afterwards? wats involved in changin the cams and wat will i get out of it?
if the the creaking noise is coming from the steering when turning, have u had ur driveshafts checked? the cv boot joint could be away in the driveshaft(s).
im gettin a rubbing sound wen am drivinv hard in 1st and 2nd

my 3 cars ive ever owned have been clios and each one has never owed me nefin, i found them to be grand
im getting a knocking from my drivers side on my 172, the engine mounts seem ok, n its nt just wen i accelerate hard, it knocks wen i move off normally.
any ideas??
to be truthfully honest i find that a ph1 172 goes better than the ph2 172 & the 182.
the ph1 just felt so much more raw than the newer 1's
any1 find this?

ive have a lot of ppl sayin that the standard cobra alarm isnt that gr8, any recommendations to wat alarm i cud put it instead?
the alarm in my 172 has never wrked since i gt it, stripped her dwn n seen that the siren doesnt wrk at all bt wen its locked it wont go off no matter how hard i try
any ideas lads(or ladies)?
well u'd hve a lot more wrk in puttin audi stuff into ur 1.2 shell than wat u would with renault stuff
plus imagine liftin the bonet n seeing an audi badge :eek: :S
just buy a 172 ;)
