Plent of choices out there mate, i was looking not long ago and theres a few bargains to be had.
From my eperience i found that if they just want to point and shoot then most the cameras out there are pretty similar and will do a good job.
Its only really worth looking into them in detail if...
Its not an extra years warranty, i can either buy the camera with the standard years warranty or i can buy one they have classed as 'refurbished' without a warranty, having done some research though, the 'refurbished' camera is in perfect condition and never used, just the outer box has been...
I know its common sense but i was just thinking that out of all the electrical items ive bought in the past 5 years none have had problems in the first year but i suppose its sods law that it would break if i didnt have a warrantey.
Ok, im buying a new digital camera and ive found the one i want on Amazon, now i can buy it normal with a years warranty or i can buy it without a warrantey and just a 30 day money back gaurentee and its £20 cheaper.
Is it worth paying the extra for the years warranty?
But i am more of a point and shoot man who wouldnt mind having a few extra features to use occassionally, so where as they may not be the best on the market they meet my needs, rather than someone like yourself who is obviously into photography in a big way and so the full spec of the camera is...
I wouldnt say looks are important, i could handle having a camera that looked OK at best but i suppose i have an unusual taste in cameras as i think those Samsungs, especially the NV5 look like sex
Sorry JJ but the Ixus range just really doesnt tickle me.
Very nice choice McBunny, my problem is that for the money im looking at spending theres alot of choices out there and its just working out which is going to be the best for me.
As much as id love the Fuji S5700 i really think that...
I know it shouldnt be a consideration but i dont think i could use something like the Cannon Ixus on a daily basis without thinking about how ugly it was everytime i saw it.
Ok, im after a new digital camera and struggling to decide which one i want, my current choices are below and all have pro's and con's so i thought id seek some advice from people with a better knowledge than me.
The choices are as follows:
Fuji S5700...
I can get cable in my area, thats not a problem but with my phone lines maximum speed being 4mb then will i be able to get a faster speed than that if i get an 8mb connection?
Or am i better getting the Virgin 4mb connection?
Ok ive been looking for a new broadband provider and i found one i was happy with and was in the process of signing up when i noticed it said my expected speed was 4mb even though i was signing up for an 8mb connection.
After doing a bit more research it seems this is beause i am 1.39 miles...
I was originally going to go for non contract broadband but its too much hassle so ive been looking around and there hundreds of broadband deals and i cant make my mind up which to go for.

Newnet looked good but when you read the small print it says:
"Up to 24meg broadband download subject to availability and survey. Initial roll out begins in Portsmouth. Actual line speeds will depend on line length and line quality. 3 months notice of termination required. Home LITE 12/24...
Ok, I want to get braodband but im not sure how long im staying at my current house so i dont really want to commit to a years contract so does anyone know of a half decent broadband offer that isnt stupidly expensive that is month by month or at most a 6 month contract?
Ok, this is a bit of a weird one and ive no idea whats happeneing or how to sort it.
I was chatiing on msn the other day and a friend was sending me a file, i tried sending one back to her at the same time and suddenly my PC just rebooted itself, once it had fully rebooted it popped up with a...
Im on T-Mobiles Flext but the missus is currently on O2, theyve offered her the U600 and £5 off her line rental for 12 of the 18 months but im sure i can find a better deal for her
Its renewal time and ive had a quick look around but i was wondering if any of you guys had come accross any good mobile phone deals recently or worked for any of the networks and knew of any good ones about?
Cheers
