but the coolant turns to crystals so if it was cracked and was leaking then the coolant that had leaked from the crack would turn to cyrstals and would leave some sort of evidence that it is cracked!!

ill check it when its hot but surely if there was a crack in it then there would be some crystals on it where the crack was but theres nothing - aaaarrrrrrrgggggghhhhh

is the expansion tank the see through container that holds the coolant?

Fook me, this one is a mystery. My car has been running hotter and hotter over the last week or so, i eventually decided to have a look and my coolant has been leaking to the point where it is now below the 'Min' level. The mystery is though, where is it leaking from - The cap was screwed...

Ive just been told that Mk1 Ph3 are self adjusting clutches so if its slipping then it needs replacing? Can anyone confirm this?

and im assuming Clio clutches are definately adjustable?

In the last couple of days my car has started playing up, if i accelerate gentley then everything is ok, but if i attempt to accelerate quickly then the revs go straight up but the car accelerates slowly and even though i havent lifted my foot off the accelerator the revs start to drop to match...

right, for some reason my central locking has started playing up in the last few days. It still locks and unlocks ok but when i press the button on the remote to unlock it, the button on the interior of the door pops up like its supposed to but then 2 seconds later it drops down half the way...

ok, the front fascia is held on by 4 clips, u need something flat and thin, you will see the bottom clip need where you plug the charger in, prize the fascia off at the bottom, then push the thin object inbetween the side of the phone and fascia and slide it down, do the same on the other side...
