I can see where your coming from. The only downside is that I do 15k+ miles a year so even me buying a 182 is not what anyone would call practical :approve:
I test drove the 197 myself and found it a pleasure to drive. Fantastic seats, good position and so on but one of the only problems I...
I would of opted for the newer 197 but as the MPG is awful and the miles I do, I opted for a 182. They are a cracking looking car in all ways, Driven a few before I bought a 182 but just couldn't justify the extra dosh and money on petrol. Saying that the 1*2's are no saints on fuel but they are...
I was in the same situation as you, drove a Clio 1.2 16v, wanted a 1*2 but insurance just wouldn't allow.
I waited a good three years, selling the 1.2 for 2.0 206 (warm hatch) and now after 3 years of patiently waiting I can afford to have one with no stupid insurance prices etc.
Work on the...
You the funny thing is, she's just told blokes in work that I'm getting one (prob just said '''A'' Clio...tut) and they all think there is something wrong with me.... Baring in mind there all poxy hairdressers who were jeans tighter than duck tape for pants. I just had to laughed :P
Lol yeah... She's 13
No sadly she don't. I'm just the skivvy that ends up driving her f'in everywhere. If she don't like it then that's less miles trotting to her needs... Nice :)
Well within a week's time I will be proud owner of a BG182 with cup packs. I've waited a good three years to finally wait till insurance camled down and I can honestly say I'm more excited then when I passed my poxy test at 17.
Now the only downside that has come so far is.... Well the title...
So all in all its not a big issue. On that note then I will go see it later today and try and push the price down to a round figure of 5k if of course everything else it ok.
Thanks for info lads.
its HPI clear with no accidents or anything, so can I only asume that it has came off?
Its not a major issue missing it but I just want to make sure that is does have both cup packs or DID, as its missing the splitter lol...
Ok I'm still looking around for a 182 with cup packs and have came across one which the dealer has told me does have both cup packs. It has the spoiler, darker alloys, but seems to be missing the front splitter?
If I read correctly it should have a splitter right?
Any help would be great chaps...
Hope you enjoy it fella. Just been out and drove my 3rd 182 today in the past month and have finally found one I happy with.
Do you mind if I ask what sort of price you paid with milage and owners etc?
160-170bhp for a GTi 180 is about right. The lads weren't disappointed with that it was a the fact that some where RR'd about a month earlier with a remap and IK at 188bhp and now the figures are back to normal... There's a slight suspicion that the ECU could be re-adapting to the way the user...
