Ill kick off with:- * Engine cover, air box, 172 Cup chin spoiler

Many of you will have seen my other post re. carbon fibre engine covers for the Mk2 172. What are the top 3 items youd like made in carbon fibre for the Mk2 172? If I can get 5 people for any one part Ill do my best to get it made, and for a decent price!

towser - I believe the engine cover from the Mk2 should fit a Mk1, as the engines are the same. So, thats 2 people interested...2 more to find!

PaulG - you raise a very fair point. You could ask why people chrome parts of their engine, fit silicon/braided hoses, paint their brake calipers, etc. ... all mods which are unnecessary, but people like to do. Dash summed it up perfectly - cuz they can and they want to!

It has to have been made in June 2002....you might find that if you bought the car in June it was actually made in the factory a month or two earlier. If you have TCS youll have the switch!

Captain - the Cup Racers are based on Mk1 172s.....my mate has 4 which his team races - Stancombe Vehicle Engineering. If you need any more details, I can ask him for you... P.S. Did you get my PM about the NOS?

My mate is running the very same kit on his 1900 T3 powered Fiesta turbo (stripped out racer interior with a cage, etc) which was quite quick enough before NOS. Now, with +80bhp at the flick of a switch its bleedin mental, spins the wheels at the drop of a hat and spits flames everywhere. The SS...
