Ah ok. Will look into that. Cheers guys. Was also wondering whether there were any good pug specialists round these parts.
Nick, in a word yes it does, a lot rawer and chuckable!

Possibly a stupid q. My 106 is running cams, with mapping to suit. I disconnected the battery to fit an aftermarket wheel today and seems to run rougher since I reconnected the battery. It won't have rest the ecu when I left the battery disconnected will it?
so on wednesday i fitted the new seats and harnesses. need to tidy a few bits up but love the seating position for now
so from:

Riad - owner says he knows bomber, burp and a few others and used to be part of the built4track crowd, had a black Clio on White 2118s
Wheels wise I'm current stalking some TH Monos as I'm not a fan of the wheels either
Seems to run pretty well, loving the lumpy idle from the cams. Seems one...
its not THAT sheddy dave. paints in good nick and no damage apart from a dent on the bonnet, but its still a shed.
pug1off cams are apparently catcam 708s but with an ever so slightly longer duration, and it pulls pretty well with them.
its booked into xsport for a few bits and pieces on...
its not a minter by any stretch of the imagination. a bit rough around the edges if i'm honest but its been bought with the sole intention of track abuse so i'm hardly fussed!
Put a deposit down on this little beast today.

As far as getting your refurb done dude, theres a company about a mile from you who have done some wheels for me in the past, and they're really good. Theyre called Powdertec and theyre in the industrial estate just up from the the VW dealer. Think I paid about £80 for a set to be refurbed :)
if the above car is the one i'm thinking i remember driving out of bournemouth in my s14a and seeing the little thing stuck to my bumper and wondering what the hell it was!
It's not the description as such Daniel, more the fact it needs a good £200 to get through an MOT, he has no paperwork on site for me to look through despite calling 2 days ago to arrange a time, including not having the v5, and not even allowing a test drive even though his unit is on a 2 mile...
Well they're in blandford. About 20 mins the other side of Verwood. The owner drives a Saxo covered in graphics and had a load of newish cars with no plates on out the back too. Just screams dodgy really
Re: ***How much is my car worth?***
Looking at getting a 172 cup. seen one with spec as follows:
93k
no history after 30k so dont know if belts are done
no tax or mot (needs £200 worth of work to pass from my reckoning)
generally ok bodywork
i offered £1900 but reckon maybe a tad less?

list of issues:
no history past 30k
missing a fog...
