How about making an mdf false floor by using the boot carpet as a template and doing a better install yourself? Could mount the amp at an angle and try and hide the wires. How much did you pay for them to install that though?

All you need to do is wire it up as per the channels. If it has 2 channels, wire 1 sub to 1 channel. There is no point of bridging it into one channel to run 2 subs as its just achieving the same outcome. Depends on the amp really
