Track i would of said trophy. When they tested them in france the 182 standard car set a time and the cup version beat it by 1 second and then the trophy beat that time by another second
I raced a slightly modded 172 mk1 in my 182 cup and pulled away from it but not by an awful lot admitedly so im guessing either the 172 cup or 182 cup. On paper the 172 cup is slower to 100 than a 182 cup.
Yeah off the lights maybe but it very rarely happens and also it depends how well you get off the line. its usually hard to actually achieve the quoted figures without seriously abusing the clutch etc.
Next time anyone takes a trip to the ring take a look at all the serious trackday porsche owners and have a look at there brakes. 99% will have binned the standard rotors and will have the AP racing ones that have little C shapes cut into them. There supposed to be awesome
Yeah the standard porka brakes are absolute crap. My dad had a 996 turbo and the discs cracked to pieces on that. He upgraded to as you said AP grooved rotors and new bells. solved the problem full stop :)

They ARE standard discs drilled. They guys at ktec told me they have them done at a machine shop down the road from there place. Takes all the strength out of them.

Utter utter rubbish. If an amp is rated at 580 watts rms runnin at 14.4v then at 12 volts is is more likely to be producing at most 300 watts. You really have no idea at all. All the above is just complete bulls**t. You need to go on a course and learn about all this mate!
