bouncing it off the limiter will do no damage. thats what its there for!
Its rubbish. But at the same time its a complete waste of time as the power curve tailed off way before the limiter and your just goin slower than you would by changing gear! 6500 or something like that would be far more...
Ive been doin alot of research on this. I want to buy an intake kit/ induction kit for my 182 cup.
Every company i ring tells me something different!!!!
What do i buy and also will i lose power by fitting it.
I know alot of cars do due to the fact that its sucking hot air from the engine bay
Any...
on the motorways on the way back from the ring i hit the limiter in 5th which indicates over 150. obviously not the accurate speed but was fun doin it. honda s2000 behind me was not too impressed!!!!
i have a 182 cup and im considering changing the suspension for something harder, lower and more related to track use. what are my best options? I read that awful thing in that french cars mag about there 172 and there nitemare with the coilovers they had fitted! Are they all like this or is...
thirty quid will buy the worst of the worst. it will be gutless!!!! youll never get 100rms out of it. it will also come with built in interference! you need to spend more on a make that is well known!
figures on amps are pretty much rubbish. they are all taken at 14.4 volts aswel and a car battery is only 12 or so. by the time its travelled down the cable its lost a little bit more. if the amp is measured at 1000 watts at 14.4 volts then at 12 volts you can half the power so really its only...
drilled discs are a no no and i dont care what anyone says but they crack outwards from the holes. no good really. grooved is they way forward but not loads of them!
take it straight from the fuse box or a decent supply. not a pissy little thin wire that you have no idea what it does. you can get a specific slim line ps2 in car power supply from a car hifi place. we sell them :)
not a specificunit no but you can add the kce-300bt box to some of the 2007 units. the kce-200bt is complete rubbish. we sell them and to be honest they dont work! new one is great tho. i have it linked up to my new x001 alpine ipod unit :)
in short components work very well in some cars but coaxials work better in others. without a build on the clio door they work much better and easier with simple coaxials.
the tweeters on the clio are just in a really bad position on the dash. they take your face off when there loud. on a decent hi fi system in a car the tweeter should be as close to the mid as possible to give a much better sound stage. the a pillars are ok but only work with very specific...
