I reckon it would be alright, most head units with screens allow you to set the angle at which you want the screen to go to when it comes out. I know you can do it with alpine ones anyway.

Right, ive managed to get the wing mirror shell off and get the sensor hanging there losely. How do i disconnect the little device? Also, what should i be looking for or doing to try and correct the temperature reading (It is currently saying 40*C + constantly). Thanks Nick

lol! I reckon it could be done, if you already have the headunit. Get yourself some good quality front door components. Coaxials for the rear door speakers and maybe a sub if you want some good bass.

if you mean the lid to is rattling try drilling out the pop rivets and re-alligning the glove box. Then either put screws back in place or new rivets. Worked for me.

alright i guess ill just have to live the first one. I will try wedging a screw between the plastic and the gaitor to see if that works :) Cheers

Ok i got a couple of little niggles with my car that are starting to annoy me now! Firstly, when you put the seats forward to let people in the back and then put them back down the seat has to slide all the way back before it clicks into place! which crushes the peoples feet in the back...

Right, if i was to purchase this Alpine 9855r head unit is there anything else i will need to buy to get it to work? Like an adaptor plate to put it in the dash or any convertors? I know you need to buy the steering wheel adaptor and alpine stalk adaptor. Thanks Nick

take a look at the alpine type r sub as well, pretty punchy. If you have lots of money for the sub you could always get a type-x.
