    what tyres have you got on mate cos 195/45/16s are the same rolling diameter as the original 15s infact its slightly smaller so putting 15s on will make no differance your not dreaming a valver will do a low 7sec to 60 run, i think someone put up an old autocar test that tested a valver at 7.4...

    just got back from ABP motorsport who did it for 90quid which isnt bad got new plugs, oil change and a general check and they spent nearly 2 hrs on it problems that need to be sorted are- aux drive belt starting to crack, anti roll bar mount snapped which i new about and non exsistent rear...

    my valver will do a good 7mph more in first than my mates 106 but second and third are about the same from my experiance induction kits dont work well when its hot but in this cold weather my car does definately seem more responsive so swapping from an ind kit to the airbox in the cold...

    im not surprised pug 106s are quik nuthin in it between me an my mates till over 60 mph wen i pull slight lead his made 110 bhp @ wheels last week with de-cat, k+n and milltek exhaust mine did 117 before the exhaust an de-cat get it on the rollers mate if ur cars not doin what it shud...

    got beat by jon 2 live on sat he did make 149bhp @ wheels though, been beaten by a nissan 300zx , raced a porche boxster down the lancs upto about 120 i wasnt far behind neither raced a lancia delta he got alongside but couldnt seem to get past he did have a car full though pulled a good...

    yeh i got taken by surprise by an audi a4 1.8 t uphill too at 25mph in second by the time id seen the badge an realised it wasnt a td or summat he was off didnt get chance to show him who was boss as he turned off straight after, gutted adi

    ur better off putting the + on the + and then put the - of the charged car to somewhere on the engine of the discharged car and switch on a few electrical items as well this avoids spiking the ecu adi

    i thought the button on the end of the wiper stalk was used to isolate the immobiliser, does that key switch do it too? i only noticed it when running cables for the stereo its right in the corner under the glovebox adi

    rsc had problems cos the old chairman was a nob/too busy i dont know which 1 but if hed said that instead of fobbing me off saying hed sent my membership when he hadnt it would have been better the new 1 is much better and just e-mail them and ull get ur website access thing adi
