shortlist so far - fast road cams, or rear diffuser, bonnet de-badged, bumpers smoothed, de-lock and spray rubbing strips, smooth tailgate, thought of big brakes but they wont fit under anythin below a 16 so i wont be able to fit my 15s again should i need to or want to on the dragstrip...

yep agree every car ive had has been lowered it it jus makes it look that much better plus most of the cars ive known of have been ok lowered ride quality wise unless lowered 60mm or more if thats what ur worried about infact i didnt notice a lot of differance on the valver cos that was hard...

maybe its blocked like 16v clio said or there are leaves or summat blocking the heater only other thing i can think of is on one of my old cars i had the dash out and broke one of the clips that held the temperature selector cable in place this meant it worked fine on the cold setting but...

those "nutserts" are called rivnuts you can get em from loads of places i think even halfords do em, u need a tool like a rivet gun and u can get differant sizes used one a few times on a site i work at its very useful keep meanin to add it to my toolkit he he

it wont mess up the ecu cos the lambda sensor is before the cat, ive got 1 and mine runs fine you just have to swap it at MOT time its only 4 bolts worth getting the fuelling checked as it might be running a bit lean a chip will sort this adi

what tyres have you got on mate cos 195/45/16s are the same rolling diameter as the original 15s infact its slightly smaller so putting 15s on will make no differance your not dreaming a valver will do a low 7sec to 60 run, i think someone put up an old autocar test that tested a valver at 7.4...
