You could build a VTS track day car pretty cheap. Ive seen early P reg examples knocking around for £2k.
The 205 GTI 1.6 and 1.9 are even cheaper to buy. My cousins dad has a perfect 1.6 GTi that would be great fun for track days (modded of course)
Or maybe a 106 Rallye 1.3 with the VTS 16v...
Be quite interested in full specs once its finished - like whats new, whats old, whats uprated and what isnt.
Looking very good so far. Have you restored any other cars before? ( for yourself)
Is that the lightweight cup version

306 GTi6 are very quick! I remember when JONGSR4 first got his Evo and one giving him a hard time. Although the Evo did respond better to 3rd gear blip down at 80mph. Left the guy once over a ton ;)
5 years is a long time to pay for a Clio.
A 182 will be worth about £5k in five years time. Unless you run it into the ground it will cost you alot of money.
Im never buying a new car again (not a french one anyway) I lost £6k on my VTR and 3.5k on my Cup 172 after only 1.3 years.
Aint...
