Better H4s and sidelights did the trick for me. Much better than the standard Clios setup.
Not quite Xenon bright but far cheaper and legal.
No, you cant just buy a couple off ebay and plug em in.
You cant fit a 182 backbox (as you put it) to a 172. The 182 doesnt have a spare wheel well in order to fit the twin boxes. Thats why the can of foam are in the boot.
The manifold I think you mean. GDI will do so I believe. The wheels are a straight swap no problem! Always a set of ebay...
Using 98 DID (seem) make a difference in my VTR. I could always feel the car was running better and picked up better on take off.

Never used 95 in the Cup but when you...

Such a thing would be good as some are getting on now – a sadly some have been unloved
Cheers CupCake. Youve put my mind at rest. I was gutted I sold my DEH-77MP in my VTR but I dont really think it goes with the Cups dash.
I loved that headunit and really miss it!
I cant understand all these problems owners seem to be having with 182s.

If you think the cup is "stripped out" then you havent been in a Pug Rallye. The Cup still has as much more than a VTR. Cant think out anything my VTR had over my Cup (expect the optional ABS)
If it were me Id save for a silver mk2 172 and when the time comes take all the bits off youre car and stick them on the 172.
51 reg examples honestly are getting very cheap Gee
