probably out on the valve timing, as it wouldnt start if you were out on the pump even by a gnats knacker

no bleeding req. only gotta bleed brakes if you have had a pipe, caliper, cylider ect off

you've got nowt to loose by taking it out, cleaning it, and putting it back checking the air gap is the same as the other side, also check the exiter ring hasnt got loads of bits of crap in it.

did you clean the oil coating off the discs prior to fitting? did you put a smear of copper grease on the pad backs? did you get any of it on the disc? are the pads properly fitted & secure?

well i'm biased LOL but ideal if you get dirty at work or to put on after valeting the motor i use one when i'm just poppin down the shop or some such, i rekon its saved my seats (full fat 172)
