Been following fubar's guide for fitting my ph2 rear lights. I've come unstuck at the wiring though. When removing the wires to re-wire in the right order. Should I be trying to pull the whole thing out i.e. wire and the silver terminal if you like aswel, or just the wire from the silver...
Yeah same here lol, mine have still got the white ones in two weeks later coz I'm too lazy to change them! lol. Gonna wait till I get some Silvervision esque ones (if they are even available!?)
Took me seriously about 3-4mins without changing the bulbs.
A little bit of force is required to prise the originals out but nothing major or risky. If you look at the back of it face on there is the oval of the actual repeater, and then a circular tube which the bulb and holder twist into. If there are two bits of plastic on both sides of the circular...
I got some of ebay, but I had to file a couple of bits of plastic off the back to make them fit properly (easy enough).
To remove Amber ones - slide a blunt knife of flat head screwdriver from the top of the repeater and down the back. Prise them forward and slowly work the amber repeater out...
Nice one mate, not to worry about you being darn sarrrf! I was thinking that about the skirts as I noticed you didn't have the wings and obviously the bumper. Thats good news then if I can get almost identical ones that fit with a little work! How much do you think I should expect to pay for...
OK, thanks alot for your help mate and mitch aswel. Like I said I'll go to the place near me and see what sort of prices they can do me. Does £150-ish sound about right for the Green Dynatwist?
Is this one that will fit?

First one I came accross, bit pricey but if it's worth it...
Don't know where the bonnet got to - FPMSL!!
Thanks Vinny and mitch, £80-£90 seems to be about the going rate for them both. I'll go to waxacar soon armed with K&N 57i part numbers to see if they can do me a better deal.
Of course lol, there will be stage by stage photo's of my little clios development. It will be all in good time though!
My plans are.
Clear side indicators - Done
Ph2 rear lights - will be done on Sunday with the wheels!
Cup Turinis - Collecting on Sat, fitting on sunday
Painting brake...
Bloody marvelous! lol, I can't tell from the pics, have you got spoiler done aswel? I'm assuming you've had the bumper done!?
I was expecting to pay about £200 tbh. Yours looks smart though and for £100
According to the guide that's the right one on ebay, thought it seemed a bit steep though! I think it might be confusing you 'coz of the picture, I think it's just a general picture, it says the 57-0242 is for the 1.4/1.6 with square airbox.
^^ EDIT, nice one matey! It lists Waxacar on the K&N...
Looking good Dave, Mines a monaco blue and I'm getting Turinis on Saturday! I also plan for the APEX -40mm kit when I have some more money! Is it £205 on that site? I also plan to get the colour coding done, how much did it cost you and where did you get it done mate?
Thanks fellas. No it's just for the sound really.
Sounds nice mitch. How much did you pay? Also mitch, does it look easy enough to return to standard when the time comes to sell up, also I guess you loose the look of the square engine cover as the top right part is the air box isn't it? I...
I see people that stall all the time and I just do not know how they manage it. I stalled a few times when I first passed, then was fine for weeks, then stalled it once when I had to slam on to avoid an accident, In a way I had to as I probably wouldn't have stopped in time if I'd put the clutch...
Auto Trader, Saxo forums and pistonheads if you want something near it's value, if speed is of the essence and you don't mind getting less than it's worth then a dealer.
